It will be interesting to see how the ealry religions go as there 3 myst starters. Gandhi has 4 neighbours surrounding him and 2 of them are imperialistic so I think he will be boxed in early. That combined with evil Stalin who will hate him due to peaceweight difference and possibly Saladin and Charle hating him for religious differences will make him the first to die.

Meanwhile Cathy should have a nice expansion phase with a lot of land to expand to, Stalin being probably her friend and concentrating on Gandhi and Cathy has very good traits for landgrab. So I think she should be able to get a lot of land peacefully. After getting a lot of land she can do whatever she pleases, thanks to her threacherous nature a good backstab isn't out of question.

Victoria has somewhat similar situation with Cathy with the big exception that she has a lot less land available. Her land doesn't have lot of rivers either. Still I think she should have good expansion with imp and then ok economy with financial trait and no early wars with Gandhi sucking up all the hate. Choosing the right religion will be important, if she wants to do well she should take the religion that comes out as the winner from the wars in the center.

Charly could become a big player here as imp means good expansion. Depends on what he will get out India. I don't think tundra land is very good but in the last game Pericles won despite starting near tundra.

Saladin? I checked and he has a surprisingly high unitprob, 6/10. Traits are weak, well spi is ok with the constant civic switches. He lacks the imp trait which mny leaders here have. I think he needs a good war to became significant player here.

Ghandi ist just way too close to Stalin and also edged in by Victoria and Saladin. He has no chance against those as close borders will make things diffcult from the beginning. Meanwhile Catherine as almost a quarter of the continet all to herself and will claim most of it due to her traits. The midgame will see the evil Russian leaders going against Saladin and Victoria, while Charlemagne will hold his own for a while. In the end he will also succumb to the Russian bear on Turn 303!

I fully expect Stalin to declare war on Gandhi, and stay at war until India is eliminated from the game. I don't expect it'll help Stalin very much, though, as his Indian conquests will be swamped by foreign culture. (There's a good chance that both the Roman and Arab holy cities will pop up on India's borders.) And I figure a weakened and technologically backwards Stalin will prove too tempting a target for Catherine. She can declare war at Pleased, after all. I'm pegging Charlemagne for second place because he has decent expansion prospects, and the best chance to spread his religion to Catherine.
