Looks like the top four are good with conceding. Did I miss Gavagai suggesting that he was too?
My guess is that Mike/Sullla is seeing what he always gets in games here - he's got himself a great position and all of a sudden everyone is dog-piling him. While we (and Hashoosh) can see that Goreripper is actually just attempting to create a diversion and Seven has no intention or capability of actually attacking him at this point. I can see why that would be stressful.
It's a shame - I'd really like to see Mike/Sullla play out this position, as I think he's still got a great chance in the game. If I wasn't totally spoiled (and didn't have other responsibilities charging towards me) I'd love to take over and fight a war from a tech advantage for a change, but as Seven says, it's not really fair to make all the other players slog on with a replacement. The game has been won.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57

Goreripper also played a few WW games here.
Yep but even then people thought he might be someone's ghostie due to the weird posting style and sudden appearance. Now he's running a philosopher theme (remember "Locke" and "Cervantes"!) and is playing in a game with a hiding Sullla :P Kinda hoping he's just Goreripper though, I enjoy his posts when he's not insulting someone to their face like in WW.

I thought this post was suggesting that:

I don't understand why this game hasn't ended.

Huh? He's just saying don't feel the obligation to play on when you figure out you won't win, because nobody else wants to keep playing anyway.
I'm baffled why this game is still going as well, when nobody other then Seven thinks they can win, and all have either quit or offered to concede.

Well, I didn't hear anything about wanting to end the game by Kuro, 2metra, wetbandit and adhoc. Seven wants to continue, Gavagai wants to continue. I'm not going to propose the game to end just because people think Seven already won the game - what with the whole winning isn't everything spirit.

Maybe it was in response to Krill's comment about MtG - I have no idea how it was intended, but it could be read unfairly.

In the first screenshot those five cities form the front between Gavagai and Gaspar/Noble. In the second screenshot Bay of Pigs is Gaspar/Noble's closest city to the MikeSullla/Yuri front.
Magic decoder ring says that Gavagai wants peace (sheep) along their shared front and for Gaspar/Noble to keep attacking France (iron) over by Bay of Pigs.
I guess it's a cheaty decipher since this is the same thing I read every time in Gavagai's thread. He keeps saying "you guys who hate ancient war go fight someone else." So no points to me if it's a correct decipher I suppose.

I want so badly for Gaspar to accept that first offer.

Gaspar / Noble got a really good deal out of their HA investment, but do they really not have a plan to keep any of the land they've captured / freed up (besides "build Skirms/LB & pray")? That seems... unusually shortsighted of them.
