[SPOILERS]A new adventure of Vanrober always guided by chumchu

I played the turn but i wasnt confident to leave mjmd in peace in such a way, so i moved our stack 1 tile towards mjmd so in case he declares on this turn we go with 16 units of stack to whip him. Unless the declaration gets a peace offer right after, if thats the case i would love to play mjmd before ruff. But thinking it better are they gettign some diplo to dogpile into us? i would panic hahahaha.

I wanted to thnks you for the post you left in game, i had that idea for the tiles for slow and fast movers previous war, but for fast movers i thougth to go to the hill so only could atack with spears that are on his capitol but not from his second city, but thinking why u signed that tile i came to this:

your tile:
+Fork 2 cities.
- No vision of any.
- If he got some spears in both cities he can atack our stack from both sides (quite unlucky from his second city while a stack of axes are there ready to conquer)

Vanrober's version:
+Can atack the capitol with vision and he could just atack if he got a road there and spears on the capitol.
- Cant atack his second city inc ase its needed.

So im not really sure which is the right choice here. I guess yours, because the fork is a really good part, but not having vision of the capitol...

   

Demos, they look really nice, we are  doing well on gold now that noone is at 100%, still good on power and production. I think im going to double whip 3 HA more and probably make a second round of HA with the OF and then libraries everywhere. Im not sure if maybe it woudl be better to make some more axes since its the only pseudodefence unit we have vs the praets mjmd will throw us.

       

On the micro... well i am doubting what to do right now, i think there should be no problem on destroying the second city of ruff, if amica try to make a city before our settler arrives i will burn his and then settle our. We are much ahead on power, we are trying to be frieds with him and if he abuse our trust will get punished, if he goes even farther we could even try to brun his Cultural city and get 0 cultural tension, but i guess that would bother him.
So i decided to go monument instead of settler on Raspberry, ill make it after the monument or maybe in pomegranate after his HA in just 1 turn, that sounded much better on my head. 
Lemon is making an archer with defensive purposes en case mjmd wants to join the party. It will be made in just 2 turns if i made well the micro plan. And then it can make a library since it will be a really cottage builder.
Blueberry, the capitol and grapes will make another round and will be whiped almost for sure, unless you see something im missing. Then ill try to put some more hammers on the mids.

We can get best of both worlds by moving a chariot to the hill to get vision on his capital before we move the main horse archer stack to the fork tile.

I do not think that mjmd was going to attack because of:
1) he is showing a few units only
2) he is sending friendly messages
3) he does not seem conserned by turn order
4) no big military build up from him on power graphs
5) it does not make sense for him to attack now economically.

My read of him is that he does not want to be attacked. If I were in his situation I would be concerned by our military builld-up, the workers roading near him, bad feeling from us from our previous conflict and his landgrab. I think he is showing the units and sending the message to signal that he sees preparations and is ready in case we attack to dissuade us form attacking.

I see him worry from turn order since he didnt double move us. and is waiting for us to play, like ruff is doing.

We could play before ruff tomorow and declare war letting him double move us and we go then on the 2nd part. Thant would give him more advantage but other way we will be camping timer with him (true that we will legally)
But in any case if we camp the timer with him it will be obv that we want to declare him.

So mjmd seem not to declare, now he double moved us. He whiped 2 pop in 1 city and 1 pop in another.

Amicalola whiped severalcities too, probably making his stack vs ruff i want to guess.

The question is, should we war peace mjmd? it seems ruff is going to wait long until i play so that would relax him. But if we move the units to ruff's border and mjmd doesnt agree we might be kind of craped. Also should we send him a PM asking for second half like if it were truth? 

Question for lurkers: Would it be allowed to send the PM saying is a Warpeace declaration? or would it be too much information for a non AI diplo?
Would it be legal to lie a bit on the general thread of the game sayin i might need some more time for any reason (eventhough is not true) so we kind of force Ruff to play before us?

We can not send such a PM in AI-diplo. We can just declare war and ask for peace. That should however be extremely clear to mjmd that we do not intend to fight him. Also he does not know where our stack is so we should move it into position to attack Ruff. We can not delay the attack any longer I feel. Our power is enought to make him accept peace I would think.

We just want to avoid any double moves with Ruff I see it. We can go first or second for me, does not matter that much. However if we want to declare on mjmd this turn we would be in second half of the timer so then mjmd and Ruff will probably have to go first next turn which means we should go last this turn.

Next turn he will see more 1 movers in grapes next turn and probably react by starting defense builds in Madrid at least. We should declare after he has moved that turn.

I want to go last with ruff, i dont want his whipping to happen and also if we destroy his second city we could stop any axe/spear he has on production not letting him to change that production. So i will for sure be last next turn. I will wait until it takes 10 min to play and i ill declare so if he lose the turn its his fault, something that happened on pb55 and if SD would have declared into lewwyn, they would have probably lost the turn. And i hope that happens to Ruff if he tries to camp the turn tomorrow.

So im going to play now and declare on mjmd. I ll make a report after.

It was completely impossible for me to play before today, today is my sisters birthday and i was preparing a cake and all that stuff, also tomorrow i come back to work after 3 weeks of holidays so i had to travell to my rented house, where i am now!. From tomorrow on i wont have as much time as i had this days, but i hope not to decay on the reports and micro!

Turn 87

The war is close. 

First of all The diplo messages. Noble asked for OB, i declined, i am in love with amica and he is his enemy so its my enemy too, unless we get something from his OB, now we dont get gold and he might get TR, and we have no units to overpass his border so really, i am not interested.

   

Then the love with Amica grew a lot. He asked for one of our stone for wine! yeah happiness we do need that! I agreed without much thinking, if he gets mids or whatever instead of noble or civac or mjmd it would be nice! And we get our apreciated happiness!

   

Then i declared and asked for peace to mjmd, at least im pretty sure i did, so i might even try to log on again and ask for it again just in case hahaha. Btw i didnt say anything on PM so hopefully he gets that like a no serious war.

But hey, we choped the forest the turn right before it becomes to him! it was completely luck, i didnt thought when would that happen :/ So i have to take more care of thining those things.

   

So i thought in the mine the worker was doing in the border with cumae. Looking at some pics etc it seems he got 4 culture on that tile (2 turns 2cpt) while we have 5 (5 turns 1cpt) so if im right next turn it will be 50% and the next it will be his. So the only solution i thought was to 1pop whip the monument So we got both 2 cpt and then make a librasry to warranty that tile is our so that mine too. But im not sure if its worth or not. If we slow build it and then whip the library we will get the mine back either way. If im wrong correct me, im not entirely sure about culture mechanic, ive read a page where it is explained for vanila civ iv and im not sure if bts changed something.

   

So on the Ruff's war, i've tried to make everithing as planned but instead of 8 axes there will be 7, 2 more comming but 1 and 2 turns late. But look our beautiful HA stack! (and see that the workers just ended the cottage!, so its obv we are building infra hehehe) I hope his brain explote when he see the war to mjmd and stop whiping to grownd his cities, he has 2 pop on the capitol and his 2 city wtf. Also, to make it even more clear that we couldnt reload in case ruffs miss his turn i could throw a chariot against that axe, eventhough he put a spear on it or whatever, so as it happened rng there is no discussion. I think we can get to that axe anyway he moves it.

   

On the micro part, grapes, figs and blueberry are making 19h of HA this turn so i ll double whip afterwords and get 6 HA in 2 turns!
Finally decided to go settler on Pomegranate. Ending the archer as i said yesterday on lemon. And having the already mentioned doubts on Raspberry.
On Gooseberry.. i am doubting what would be better to whip out first if the granary or the LH what do you think adn why? I guess its better granary since more or less doubles or food, but the lighthouse would also grant us some more tiles to work. On my microplan there is already 28h of the granary and next turn will be whiped out, but tell me if you think im wrong!

       

Finally demos and graphs, 3rd on gnp at 30% is great! best on prod and good on food with just 8 cities, so we are in a really good position!.

       

Finally thinking on the defensive unit we want and the beakers we need, i dont really see any advantage on going Feudalism if we are getting currency and calendar. I would go for machinery, getting forges even colusus if possible, and xbows are much better than longbows vs the praets, and i dont really think he will make much more differents units since... thats the reason for which you get rome right? to make praets! Either way we need both machinery and feud to get guilds so i think it woudl be better to get xb before longbows.

Omg while i was writting Ruff just played, what a coincidence he played right after i played. He made his 5th city, i think this time in the island!
