Actually, it wasn't nearly as simple as you make it out to be (why doesn't that surprise me).
I gave Uberfish the benefit of the doubt long enough for me to explore my own suspicions. I had been eying Sareln ever since we nailed Selrahc, and combined with both scooter and Serdoa (actually... just saying that out loud makes it look SO suspicious; how DID I ever let that be a contributing factor?!). Beyond that, I had the notion of there having to be another anti-Villager role - I agreed 100% with Selrahc on this. Of course, having never played WW before, I thought F&I would stick with the Fool role. And, to Uberfish's credit, he planned this out around Day 2 (he tried to lynch Selrahc during that day). His lie on its own wasn't nearly enough to convince me. If anything, the biggest factor was my own misconception: that there had to be a Fool.
So, yeah. Sorry about that Sareln. On the plus side, you lived longer than I did!

I was lucky in that Roland was suspicious of Sareln too at the time, and I was able to explain all of my actions to him on chat as consistent with something a seer might have done.
And the metagame theory that some secret role would exist to counter the seer turned out, in fact, to be true. Except it wasn't the fool.
BTW I felt that scanning MJW would have been totally reasonable for me to do on night 3 if I was really the seer.

Not really. The thing that almost got me mod-killed would not be possible to do if I where a werewolf. If you did not follow the thread aggesively maybe it could be true but you did. Roland should have known that you where lieing at once.

Oh, that makes more sense. However, it was such a clear lie that no one would think it was true. So you ended up looking dumb.

It stings me that you, of all people, can say this and be right. :neenernee

Just about polished this off, not a lot to say that hasn't been said.
I do have to say, that I wonder what it is about me that people seem to think it impossible that maybe I just played a decent game? Between the accusations of cheating and several folks stumbling over themselves to credit someone else. I will say that I neither read the lurker thread nor did I speak to anyone not playing about the game. But it bugs me a little bit that I have to answer to that at RB.
I said pretty much everything I had to say in the game thread, which I intentionally wrote before reading anything here. I think I pretty well explained why I thought Serdoa was playing from the wrong team, and my mayor-devil-Selrahc guess was just that. I had plenty of things wrong over the course of the game as well, you throw out enough theories some of them will stick, and some of them will stink. But yeah, I do think I'm pretty decent at reading human behavior, and that served me well in a game of this nature.
It was fun, but the aftermath has left a pretty lousy taste in my mouth.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Don't worry Gaspar I think you played an excellent game.

Ditto. I would have to have you near the top of my "best villagers" list. Your play from day 7 on was commendable and made a tremendous impact on the outcome of the game.
And Haphazard, I had great fun playing with you. I don't blame you for not wanting to do WW3, but I do hope we get a chance to play again sometime in the future.
You can get a look at a t-bone by looking up the bulls ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.
