I think you want to send one blue and one red today - and send the blue with the message about maintaining status quo. If they're saying the same thing we are then they should be sending that back as well. You'll need a message about which color you're going to coordinate back and forth, and someone keen enough to not relay it if the whole thing goes belly side up.

Qgqqqq, Merovich or Mattimeo. Can any of you be on at the deadline in case we need to make a last minute decision about who to send? We should consolidate our votes onto the one person, preferably someone on at the deadline. Either Blue will vote for one of their own and force pindicator to decide who to vote for, or Blue will vote for pindicator and force pindicator to decide who to send.

Also Q, please accept my full reveal. Your fellow red would appreciate knowing what needs to be done by the team to achieve our goal.

Yeah, I guess you're right - one blue and one red is our best bet.

The blue should be someone that has a good rapport with Rowain. So probably Scooter? def not me, haha.
The red can be anyone.

What is the exact time of the deadline? I can't seem to find where it is listed and the time that I thought that it was is obviously not the correct time.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

ok, so unless anyone has a better idea I think the one blue, one red plan is the safest. if we get a blue and a red back, I'd say the blues and greys have won. If we don't, its probably going to be a coinflip.

Scooter, are you ok w/ being shipped over? seems like you're the best blue person here. we can send whoever for the red, I'll send whoever yall want me too.
