that was probably not on purpose. That plan is, however, in the running for worst *strategic* move by a human...

Umm... wow. Wandering around a huge stack of units that can't get anywhere faster than defenders, that allows more time to whip additional defenders, while simultaneously leaving more of your troops vulnerable by splitting off forces, with the additional bonuses of accomplishing ZERO strategic objectives (in fact, getting further from your objectives) while costing yourself a fortune in unit maintenance... Is there a giant smiley? This is painful.
Honestly, I think they'd be better off next turn returning to that hill forest and going to the original target. The northern cities are worth very little strategic value. What a Charlie Foxtrot...
In other news, can we get a screenshot/force composition of the CFC stupid city? It appears that our own German war may not be done in time for Civ 6 at this point, let alone T175, so I reluctantly may need to dial back my own RRAAGGEEEE @ CFC rhetoric. But, they still need to die.

One basic archer. That's the entire garrison there.

We still have 23 turns to prepare for CFC. Let's finish Alphabet and get a few spies roaming around their lands to keep track of their troop movements. If they want to use knights, I wish them the best of luck against a Castle-reinforced town.

We really should have sent them a detailed plan to use before the attack I mean something like a map with an arrow pointing towards Warendorf. It could read, "move that way"...

BTW, if we are worried about CFC attacking Starfall, I'm pretty worried about Eastern Dealers as well. Getting the walls+castle combo there could also be quite worthwhile.
I'm thinking that once we have the farm up there, we can drop one of the priests and work the farm instead, for +4F. It won't delay the GP with more than a turn, and give us marginally better odds for a scientist. The new civizen can work a mine until we get the last farm up.

WPC realised they were logged in, and finally ended their turn.

Not much new here, main thing is that Univers got a great scientist. It's only 3 tiles from their capital, so we should see an academy there soon.

Giant
From what I remember, they posted this idea 15-20 turns back when we were talking about war plans, and we did our best to tell them it was not a great idea. So I'm not sure that telling them again would do anything.
