Even I wouldn't have expected Trump to go to such extremes in alienating Ukraine, but I must say, if my speculation is correct, it's a brilliant move. The biggest mistake Biden made—and any president can make—is pushing Russia and China closer together. Maybe it's not your fault, maybe there is a devil inside, you do it subconsciously because you like to argue just for argument's sake so much that it became natural. Being more friendly, as in more neutral and cooperative with Russia and China, does not require the abandonment of anyone. We can still have our lovefest with the EU. It can be as little as stopping the NATO expansion. 


To twist it into 'abandon our allies' is an obvious dirty tactic to manipulate the conversation under his narrative.

And, to recognize an action or an opportunity does not mean an endorsement. 

Although I can still play the devil's advocate and have a genuine debate over the pros and cons of "abandoning our allies" to gain cooperation with Russia and China. An honest debate is not what he wanted. Going off on a tangent and twisting words is what he does for as long as I've been here.

The thing about quoting is people MYSTERIOUSLY delete part of quotes. Even if they are pretty key part of the quote.

It probably really stems from what you meant by "sacrifice", but man does sacrifice sound like you mysteriously don't care about human life when its not the US.

If I took "sacrifice" out of context, then that is my bad, but how you take "sacrifice" as anything other than "let Russia have its way" I don't know.
