It's been over 3 weeks since joshy has posted on the forum. Van, if you would be able to communicate leaving signs in game perhaps? Dude needs to log in and talk about his schedule, otherwise I think it is entirely within Van's mandate to rob the civ. Change the locks, make it your own.

Totally agree. Know that we can theoretically change his password via the server. But I never tested this

Some players are just getting tired, because he's very often the last player to play and already lost a turn because he just didn't show up.

It's not a must of logging in, it's a must of communication when things prevent him from playing. If he played his turns promptly then nobody would say a word about him not posting.

I good example is Mr Cairo. Doesn't update thread often, but clearly posted he might not be able to make this turn in time.
