pin - honestly, if you end up in a red controlled room w/ the bomber, you're screwed regardles. if we send 1 blue and 1 red there's just as much danger. you're going to have to count on rowain just like we are :/

I might be willing to promise 1b/1r if it means you vote, but I'm not sure that would be any better for you (have to think)

I don't think I understand this sentence at all.

1b/1r = pindicators plan. "you vote" = pindicator gives me his vote. sorry I was at work when I wrote that lol

Scooter, try to look at it from my point of view.  I understand blue wants to go with the way that gives them a coin-flip at worst, but I'm trying to look at what my situation will be like on days 4 & 5 here and how I can survive.  I'm not saying we're at odds -- just look at how yesterday played out -- but.. Just think it through from my POV like that, and maybe what I'm saying will make more sense.

Besides, you probably won't even need my vote today.  Bigger's already at 4 votes, right?  I don't think anyone on red has 4 -- they're all pretty disengaged.  Hell, you could almost say I've done more for their cause today than they have and I'm not even red!

Q wonders how rainbow is disengaged when three have voted, and wonders if it might be related to having absolutely clear idea as to what is going on.
Qs friend Mero has a vote, and Q has two (times seven for all the colors of the rainbow!), so rainbow may be a little not at all disdis organized, but Q is unsure that they will coalesce by end of day.
Q wonders if pindicater is happy sad with his inevitable loss, or whether he would prefer to throw the die with house rainbow, who would not be commited to a funner game over loss at all costs.

Pin, Scooter - we're looking at this all wrong. now that I think about it, 1B/1R is terrible.

first, there is a little rock/paper scissors stuff anyway - there is no proper play, unless you know what the control room will do.

But if, on the final day, we have a blue/grey majority, and the president and bomber in the same room, then we can guarantee win, no coinflip needed!

so its simple. we decide if they are going to send us the bomber. If not, we go with scooters plan. If so, we send them two reds.

If we guess right, we win, if we guess wrong, then all parties have a coinflip, basically. so thats a 75% chance of winning, at least.

the only way the can mug it up for Pindicator is if they send us Rowain - that means one of the greys will end up winning and one will end up losing. but that seems unlikely to happen, anyway, and even if it does its more likely Rowain gets screwed than Pin.

So the question is, which are they more likley to do? assume a slight preference for blue controlling that room (both from the chance Selrahc still votes blue, or rowain sides with blue).

I have to go out now, but when I get home tonight I'm going to try to make a chart with the different possibilities and odds each will happen to make our best guess. In the mean time try and speculate if they'll send us the bomber or not, thats the key here.

sending 1 blue + President is probably the best path tbh ... even if its a bit counterintuitive.

This is round 3 yes?

So essentially Pin wants bomber AWAY! We can do that smile

Round 4, reds send the bomber (or doesn't)

Round 5, reds send the bomber (or he is already trapped in control room) .... either way, a red controlled Barracks will end with the bomber leaving smile

Therefore, Pindicator, if we send 1 Blue + 1 President we will GUARANTEE your victory by making your room a red controlled room.

----------------

As long as the survivor and the president are in the same room, the survivor is at risk for red to send the bomber. If instead we sent as many blues as we can NOW .... if we can get a BLUE CONTROLLED ROOM with BOTH BOMBER AND PRESIDENT then we can always send the president here in the final hour (where you and the reds are). Therefore the bomber will explode in the control room, saving the president (and your) life.

IF however we DONT send the president to where the bomber is now .... best case we are faced with this SAME decision the next round, worst case we lose control of the room and lose the game with BOTH BOMBER AND PRESIDENT (in a red room).

The only way we can maximize our chances of Blue + Grey success is by sending the president + blue (imho)

I'm on board with hurling two blues back to the other room. Have to hope that the other blues work out the same calculation as we did i guess.

Oh, and vote Bigger

well you're gambling that they keep the bomber there, regardless of your calculations.

vote Q

Pindicator, we can help you win if you help us.

Today, we send you and a non-president blue to the control room. Hopefully, the control room sends 1 blue and 1 red, ideally the bomber, here. This gives red and both greys a situation where maintaining the status quo means they win, or where the control room just has to send the bomber here to win, and red+grey holds the majority in both rooms.
