Echoing shallow_thought, this was an incredibly interesting game to watch, especially when it came to the naval combat. We've never seen anything like that in Civ6 MP before, and given that most of the MP activity elsewhere is based around fast-paced duels on Pangaea maps, it might be entirely new for the larger Civ community too. A huge thanks to all of the participating players, and especially to oledavy for both emerging victorious and writing such detailed turn reports.
Here's my question: would anyone object if I wanted to do a writeup of this game for my website? It wouldn't be as long as the report that I put together for PBEM1, I would probably summarize the early game and then have a page or two highlighting the naval combat in the latter stages of the game. These movements were fascinating and deserve a wider audience than forums posts. It also should help continue to build popularity for Civ6 MP activity, which is really catching on now in large part due to the success of these first four PBEM games. Does that sound like an issue to any of the players?
I'd love to read your report Sullla, even though I expect I won't look very good in it Your writeups on civ were what drew me to Realms Beyond to begin with.
