Let's switch LiS over to a settler this turn, whip T155, move it 2W of Catherine on T156, and then south of Winter Wasteland onto the galley T157. Timing is perfect for that, we settle that island city immediately.
As to what to garrison that city with? Does French Riviera need that axe(?) for happiness? If not, then let's start moving that unit out in anticipation for boarding the galley.

It's two units. What do we gain? Either they give up the city and move their longbow east, or they move the longbow back to the city, making our capture of Weil der Stadt easier, and potentially forcing them to leave more units to defend it, making our capture of their capital easier.
What do we lose? A turn of healing. But what do we gain vs waiting a turn? Not a lot IMO. Nothing will change in that city in 2 turns time vs in 1 turn time - it will still have either 1 quechua or 1 quechua and 1 longbow. But in 2 turns time we can have better odds with the knight or can attack with the macemen if we choose.

Riiigghhht. If you want to believe that fine, you sit back and be quiet, but I do not. This is the RB team. It represents all of us. This isn't a game amongst ourselves this is intersite. There's a bit more at stake here. I've been following along and I have been watching the entire time. If I see something I don't agree with I speak up because I am a part of the team. When I say nothing I simply agree with what's being done.
This is a democracy game and frankly I find your assertion to be offensive mh. If you don't want to be on the team don't post. Don't discriminate against me and my opinion and take away from my feeling being a part of the team. It really pisses me off. Yes I don't log in to the game and I don't move units myself, but logistically would you want me to? I contribute where I can and I shut up when I can't.

I think many of us should take a step back and deep breath - hopefully a good night's sleep will help.
On the concrete issue of moving up the wounded knight and the medic, I see no real reason to do so. Yes, it'd put pressure on Warendorf, but we do not want to take the city yet, as MWIN noted. The maces and elephant should be enough to force the Germans to keep their units in the area. I see no reason to risk valuable units on coinflip battles in peripheral areas.
On the team dynamics, I think a real trouble is that relatively few of us are able to log into the game - most here are limited to Sullla's turn reports, my C&D work, and Ruff's maps. Even if all of them individually are excellent, they are no substitute to being able to log into the game and look directly at the map, cities, and units. I think we who can log into the game and do so regularly should try to remember that we are at a huge information advantage over the rest of the team members. That's why we shouldn't think of questions as stupid or irrelevant.
But I think the most frustration appears when people here feel their suggestions aren't listened to. I was really frustrated last turn over Sullla's decision to not move a mace up to the get visibility on Wismar, and I wasn't alone in that. We had discussed tactical movements here in the forum, and you had literally everyone in the chat screaming at you because of this. Please, Sullla, take a step back here and try to listen more.
Yes, I get the need for unity of effort and keeping things focused on the schwerpunkt. But keeping good intel is just as valuable, and is the key to making good decisions.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

If that missionary is headed to convert Wanzleben, I wouldn't want to capture it right away. Better to raze it a few turns later when we have a Settler in the area who can reclaim the area immediately and keep our lands free of the AP religion.

Interesting developments between CFC and CivFr ...

First, it seems CivFr kept Chinook. I think they performed a single-whip just after they captured the city, which I interpreted as razing the city.
The other, and more important thing is that I believe CivFr razed Nobamba (size 6). So far, I have only CivStats data to go on, so feel free to log in to check.
CivFr already owned Chinook about 12 hrs ago when I was updating my large cultural overlay map. We are now seeing real fighting between CFC and CivFr.
The background is from last night. The insert is from 2 minutes ago.

This is going to be a long turn. CFC hasn't even started their turn yet (waiting on CivFr to end turn).
No unit movement action from WPC in the north yet.

Since I'm not a good civ player (I basically haven't played civ for two years now, just EitB/FFHII) I don't suggest or comment in the Turn Discussion Thread. I asked about two questions so far and they were answered, which I'm thankful for.
I enjoy watching the life stream since it gives me a real feeling for the game and it is kind off exciting. Since I'm in Europe I can't watch it life, but I do watch the recording and I would be very happy if it would be uploaded so I can watch it.
I also feel like part of this community and thus have a little pride in this game (even though I haven't done anything relevant thus far) since it is our community vs other communities. Also I have learned a lot about Civ by reading almost all of the 5.000 posts in the Turn Discussion Thread.
EDIT: saw that the video was up, just no link in the Turn Report
