You're right, we want minimum overflow on the grocer so waiting a turn looks fine. We can probably end turn now.
But I have a question for those who were pro-moving-the-knight-and-chariot: Do you want to raze the city next turn? And if you do, won't that allow apolyton to settle the spot?

I think it's to induce the Germans to be stupid and defend it.

Yeah, we will take next turn as next turn comes. There is no committing to attacking that city yet

No typo in rego's post, just some formal English you'd only ever see used by Data.

I'm starting to think that the CFC / CivFr war is turning from a phoney to a more genuine war - CFC razed city by CivFr, CFC whip ... interesting times.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I'd generously call it light sklrmishing.

Well, CFC has lost 20k in units, and I think CivFr has lost twice that. And CFC lost a city (albeit a captured border city). The war weariness numbers imply five to seven combats as well. So it's more than light skirmishing.
