West is going to be interesting to settle also: ![]() But that coastline is especially interesting; does that mean the North is closed off, or does it just narrow to a peninsula? I had been planning to swing the Scout around to the South, but I may now send it towards the coast instead. I have also almost decided to build a second Scout after the Worker; I figure that with Barbs off and aiming for early Chariots (for defense!) I can benefit from the extra movement to explore.

Scout headed NE to get a view of the river valley: ![]() Really interesting intermixing of the Jungle with non-Jungle means it may be possible to settle this area before IW, and since this feels like a border zone, there's probably a real interest in doing so. I think I will need the Scout to uncover the intermediate area before heading off into the wilds. Edit: E-SE next turn, then I think I can go S-SW the following to unfog before retracing and continuing NE. |
