Yeah I guess I have been pretty quiet. I do have screenshots for a 1 AD update, I'll try and post those sometime soon. In a nutshell I think my odds of winning are quite low. Rego's just out-planned me, and executed on his plan with consummate skill. I have more cities, which doesn't matter because while land is power, we have equal entitlement and filling it out quickly doesn't mean that much (unlike PBEM5b).
Anyway as I said my biggest problem is lack of planning. I haven't even started a wonder yet and he's nailed two crucial ones. I'm pretty sure he'll get the GA from Music as well as Liberalism, making him even further ahead in beakers (1100 is his current estimate and I don't doubt it). I don't have a GP farm or a location identified for one, so after getting my Great Prophet I've been doing jack in this category. I'm currently working towards Economics, after which I plan on going for Medicine in a strict beeline in an attempt to nail Sid's. Banking is obviously valuable for Banks and Mercantilism as well.
