Steam Summer Sale has begun

Dantski Wrote:I used Magicka as an example of really fun gameplay. Honestly its nowhere near as bug ridden after all the patches as it was.

The devs themselves decribed the release as "chaotic at best" and if you check the first few pages of the Steam forum you will find numerous complaints about technical issues (especially given that the game is soon out for half a year).
Now I understand that it may run perfectly for some people as it is always the case, but aside from being a fun idea from my personal experience the performance/bug aspect of the game is still pretty terrible. I would encourage anyone to at least try the demo and see if/how good it runs on your computer before buying it.

Yes, there were some very tempting bundle offers (AC, AC2,AC2 Brotherhood), certainly enough to entertain you until the next big Steam sale smile

BTW - If anyone is really interested in good super tough strategy games, you should check out 1C. They are basically a Russian version of EA/Activision and their games are a throwback to the 1990s where game where super duper tough. But they have modern hardware so its pretty.

Quality is kinda not top notch but the games are great. For example: Men of War is basically one of the best Real Time Tactics games I've ever played. Its like Company of Heroes coolness meets Blitzkrieg toughness. I don't remember ever playing a WWII game where the time you spend microing a historic battle lasted LONGER THAN THE ACTUAL BATTLE.
In Soviet Russia, Civilization Micros You!
