[SPOILERS]Brian Shanahan comes late to the party.

I went ahead and played turn 6, so we can keep going quickly. Followed the micro plan, and send the scout [STRIKE]2SE[/STRIKE] S-SE. Might as well send him far and wide, since he can hardly help with the near scouting.

I suck at C&D. Or at least I need to get better.

Serdoa might have researched Agriculture in 5 turns by working the workshop tile. Checking the 4000BC save, there are two players working the corn (5 F), and one at 4 F. That also fits with two players with 2 H output.

So which path is better? He got 14F, 10H, and 53C in five turns. We got 15 F, 8H, and 53C in the same five turns, ie he traded 1F to 2H. He probably built a scout, since otherwise worst power would be 5k.

I was wondering about that, the tracker was showing Serdoa, and next turn too. Ah well gives me time to play the FfH save.

I think the scout went S-SW, not S-SE.

And demographics screen for the turn please?

I can never get east and west right in-game. Demos when I get back to the save and screenshots, but the only things of note are mentioned in my earlier C&D post.

Don't worry about East-West. I was doing the same thing the whole game in FfH PBEM7.

If you want take tomorrow morning's save as well. I'll be travelling up to Dublin tomorrow so won't see it before noon.

Will do. I only took the save this morning since I didn't see you around online.

Yeah I was cycling at the time, gotta get the weight down. And I'm not usually online until noon at the earliest.

Back in business. Would detail the last 240 years but Catherine told me that it was naught but "worker works, scout scouts, why oh why is the olliphaunt floating on an ice berg, and most importantly WHERE'S MY HORSES?"

But this turn is different. For starters we found a jungled grassland deer, never knew they migrated for the winter:

And for your delectation the olliphaunt:

And some more clandestine information from our intrepid and brave secret policemen:

Our expert in cryptography will be along soon to decipher the strange codes but there are a few things to notice:
1) We have met scooter, or more accuarately Joao, of Mongol
2) We are joint second in score 1 point behind the leaders.
3) We are top (or joint) in food and GNP (though culture helps there)
4) We are joint top in population

Just one question about meeting mechanics. I didn't get notified that we met scooter until after I ended the turn. Is this always the way, or is it just I can't see his unit I'm "meeting"?

The workers finished the farm. Stand Idle is less idle now, with 17,000 citizens working all improved tiles!

The scout moved SW, since fog-gazing told us there might be coast southwards. This turned out to be correct.
