Holy hell, that argument between Ryan and MJW was basically the hardest thing to read in WW history. Man, it was nice when MJW wasn't playing.

I'm getting mostly village tells, though that's typical for a day one. Of the main candidates, you have to lynch Tasunke solely because taking him out of the game is a net positive even if he's town. Right now, I think waterbat and Mattimeo have pinged my scumdar highest, though. I'd vote novice mayor, because he's highly likely to get scanned anyway AND of the people I have town-ish reads, is the least likely to crusade for no reason. I gained a lot of appreciation for village novice in the last scum game I played.

None of those will be lynched. A new target will surface & get lynched in the space of 1.5 hours before deadline.

Ryan is giving village vibes too, as a first-time scum he would get the advice/admonishment/harassment from the other wolves rather than from MJW in public. If it's an act it's good.

It may have been too late for them to start giving advice. If his play improved drastically that could in itself be a wolf tell.
I think in a vacuum I'd vote to lynch pindicator; he keeps popping up and saying things like 'it's too early to draw conclusions', or just summarising what has already been said in the thread i.e. novice scum scenario.

I still think I like waterbat. He had a really bad post in there, I can't be arsed to dig it out but sirens and bells went off when I read it.

Merovech came off pretty scummy in his summarization posts and I'd bet at least one of Bigger/Pindicator. Maybe Mattimeo as well.

One thing I'd look out for - the Rowain/Serdoa v. novice/uberfish/Selrahc bit - look for a players adding passive support to novice there. The scum know he is innocent and can't fight the instinct of being on the side of right. They won't want to derail the discussion because it allows for the game to continually be about nothing, but in case it gets proven they'll want to be on the side of right. Not to mention novice and uberfish are much better shepherds than Rowain and Serdoa and hence buddying them is more advantageous. Merovech's last post in particular did this.

Its not a bad game if you can just mute MJW and Tasunke, which as a lurker I can do.
