UPDATED - AITP 3 Lurker Thread - Living Players stay out!

The rules encourage random, unfounded votes. So yeah, I don't really see the appeal.

It seems really odd to me to see a 'village' play so quietly and be pretty scattergun in its approach. The assassin has played a pretty good game so far tbh.

I think last game established that there can be strength in reasoning and posting (of the kind zaks doing. - thougheven then id talk more).
I have 4th from last and I died day 1 + most post are just a vote - I don't believe lewwyns posted more then a sentence.

I think the guards really have to hurry to get the Assassin, the Assassin should be zeroing in on the king now.

If you just skim through the thread but try paying attention to how the votes shift, you'll see some people are proactive and initiating shifts, sometimes even at their own risk. I generally take that as a guard tell. Gazglum has been much more reactive, though.

And why push Ichabod into the lead, instead of waiting to see what Tasunke would do?

That kind of post has got to be a pretty significant tell for the assassin!

Spoiler for King
I think the assassin has pretty much got it in the bag at this point anyway. There's barely been a mention of tasunke in the whole thread

Yeah, I actually wanted to play full WW but don't really have time at the minute. AITP is ok, but not really the best substitute.

The "random" vote strategy actually does give information to the assassin anyway.

Yeah, i'm burned out of this game type. The whole "more talking is bad" meta kinda kills it for me.

We already showed in the first game that you don't have to play this way, so I'm not sure why people are following a wrong meta strategy.

I think the village is just being lazy.
