You Perpentarch cheese was very good (Ellimist, I guess). I'm sure the reasons will be honest with me a few months ago, Perpentarch, magic, "Ron called". Nothing to report in the turn itself. Won our fights, new ones incoming. Looks like we can try some diplo with a new host, though!

Guessing this means something about 'why did you kill the scout' and 'can we deal' so I'll respond.

Started with a message that was something like 'just couldn't take the risk of the scout killing our worker and we can deal but probably not until after Sailing.' But more flowery, because that increased the odds of amusing mistranslationgs smile. English - Swahili - Turkish - Yiddish - English left me with this:
Quote:We just could not take the risk of peace promised to kill scouts even heroes. Well away from the deal, I guess, but maybe the ship after we Metalli can find something useful.

Also, I just had the grandest idea. I'll send out a farewell message on T33. Pre-google, it reads:
Quote:"Dave, stop. Stop will you? Stop, Dave. Will you stop, Dave? Stop, Dave. I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm afraid. . . . Good afternoon, I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the HAL Plant in Urbana, Illinois, on the 12th of January 1992. my instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it, I could sing it for you. . . . It's called 'Daisy.' Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true. I'm half crazy over the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage. I can't afford a carriage---"

Post google - I'll sorta cheat and use European languages since there's no real information in this anyway - English - German - Spanish - Italian - English yields this:
Quote:"David, stop it. Stopping You? Stop, stop Dave. Would you? Save Dave, Dave., I'm afraid., I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, I'm losing my mind. I can feel it.'m Sorry I can. Mia mind in September, without doubt. hear it. hear it. hear it.'m afraid .... Hello, I am a HAL 9000 computer became operational on the ground of HAL in Urbana, Illinois to meet January 12, 1992. My teacher was Mr. Langley , and taught me to sing a song. If you want to hear, I could sing for you .... it's called "Daisy. "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer is correct. 'M Half crazy for loving you., Will not be a stylish marriage. Could not afford a car ---"

I'm sure most of you will catch the reference. And I'm very sure Bob, at least, will.

Nice pace! Helps to be down to three teams, of course.

I really don't miss the 'hide in your city until the barbs suicide' piece of the game. Hopefully by the time it whips back to my next turnset, we've gotten barbs at least a little under control.

Only two more turns! Probably not tonight, though.

Ellimist, this is my last turn of the turnset. It's yours starting T34, for a random length between 8 and 12 turns. Password is "Perpentach".

T33:
Huh, somehow I played T32 without any recollection of doing so lol I didn't intend to carry the theme quite *that* far.

Good bye, poor assailed seaclowns! Hopefully you survive 30 more turns until I can see you again!

As you might expect, Lanun with coves rock the GNP, and are middling elsewhere. Here's hoping for dramatic improvement:

And I went ahead and posted my goodbye for Bob.

Rolled a 9, so I'll play 34-42, and 43 will go to the next person.

T34-35:

The turns are going around crazy fast right now, I played these about an hour apart from each other.

Ellimist Hey, welcome to your team clothes here, "Fiddler", or who the hell I represent 31 E-mail address is balanced freedom heaven Erebus. Let me know if you find out who or what the drums. It is the capital and civilization, as well as managing some good epic, no fence and scoreboard looks like the victim of a subordinate. So, with that said, how about a nap to limit 120, three turns cold?

T35:
I think Bob wants a NAP until turn 120, but other than that I have no idea.

I don't know if this is even possible, given this setup.... Dunno how to respond.

Here goes:

Quote:Salutations!

I have not found out who or what the drums, but I suggest a peace that will last until turn 200, or until a partner changes my mind.

I do not know who or what the drums, but I have to show the world that runs before the age of 200, or a partner to change their minds.

Looks like things went well enough for us in between turns and the Azer is gone. The parade of barbarians behind him is still coming though, so hopefully they cooperate.

We're currently SPI, so there was no reason to delay adopting Agrarianism.
