It seems to me you're missing a lot of opportunities in the Banter thread.

Stealing that settler was definitely the right move, leaving it unprotected was silly. Lots of interesting stuff happening

Might give it a go.
What could go wrong with a little public taunting?

Remains to be seen :P It all depends on how the person reacts to it. If this was a diplo game I'd 100% send him a message that says: "Look buddy, I could have killed your settler this turn, but I didn't. Let's be friends this game." But since it's no diplo, I'll just make the best gameplay moves and hope that others play it the same way. And punishing people for leaving their cities or workers or settlers unprotected is a thing that needs to happen in my opinion. The game would be boring if everyone could just run a full farmer's gambit without fear.

Combat settler for a 1T road! Who woulda thunk it
I'll go for another round of axes just to make up for my silliness.

Ouch! I might have missed that one too How many axes are en route, and how many being produced?

Six axes for the first attack. Seventh is on the field walking southwards. Nro 8 and 9 will be created in 2T. Then I've got one more in production in Santa Monica. Could crank out more if I need to, though in best case scenario I will just take out that front city and his spears, build my own in it's place and sign a peace treaty, then come back later with catapults.

March forward, oh Holy Axes of Cloud Kingdom!!!
Hopefully the lack of spears on my side won't be my downfall. I had planned to use the war chariots as defenders against his chariots, but he sniped 3 out of 4.
I left the spear there. If he retreats, I'll get better odds when he's not in defensive terrain. If he doesn't, cool, one of the backup axes will get him.

His force: 5 spears in the city, 1 outside. 1 warrior in the city. I expect one axe, or two if he upgrades (didn't check gold)!
My force: 4 axes 1 WC next to the city, 2 axes a turn behind, 3 more axes three turns behind the first wave. And a few more just in case, because I can
If he gets more defenders, I should probably still attack and not wait for the spears to heal up? Undecided, but that's how I feel right now.
This is why I won't be winning this game

Yeah, it seems like you can probably beat Sian and be set back considerable in the process. Early warfare is often a matter of taunting others with Mutually Assured Destruction, sadly.

Let's get hyped for WAR!!!!
He managed to get two axes in:
My city raider axe is stronger!
But he gets first blood against the odds, leaving his axe at 4.0 strength after the battle
That's more like it! We'll also get promotions next turn for those axes that lived.
Things look good, let's hope for no considerable reinforcements!
