SH this turn, with the sheep and copper improved before chopping at the second city. With wheel then fishing.

Fishing then wheel. Obviously worker moves could be significantly different.

Number 1 is up by a hammer with the city settled that turn. Maybe I should consider potential slavery with the fish first. It would save on mine building for a while.

In one of these scenarios I think. Sandboxing is becoming a major timesink in my day!

As for turn, the coast was clear but better to have been cautious.

Warrior discover points of interest, might proceed to pillage.

Oh and all that sandboxing is for naught because I didn't set the worker to build last turn. So size 2 cap here we come.

Sorry about the boring micro.

Choosing between worker or grow to size 3:

Going with growth, basically on instinct. Too tired for rationalizing lol

Fishing started. Keeping the new warrior at home. Would like a naval scout.

I think you should strat a worker.and dont forget to pilage the windmill.

Wounded bear, someones out there...

Met Dreylin. Switched to worker.

Struggling with this turn. Here's the scenario, fishing has completed and I don't know what to build in the capital. I could continue the worker and overflow into the WB, chop with worker for a 4 turn WB and 21 overflow into a settler or 5 turn a WB then finish the worker with overflow hopefully timing better with the next tech so the worker can do something other than chop. None of the micro is very pretty. I think my concern is that the WB doesn't speed settler or worker up and that means it should be left till after both those builds, but that is going against what everyone is saying so I doubt that is right.

That sounds worse than I feel, I'm actually having fun. It's just optimal play is hard. crazyeye

WB -> worker (9of) -> settler (~14t) <- more gp (+ total fh yield?)
worker -> workboat -> settler (~13t)

In other news I'm not sure what to tech now after this:

Winery pillage gold average 10. Should allow me to tech anything without need to pause, as a side note random improvements are a nice alternative to huts for gold. Also, stone! 100% bonus on wonders here I come (some wonders). Too early to be thinking about more wonders but I do have alot of forests.

Will probably tech wheel. Seems sensible.

Killed the bear with no damage taken. A technical question: if I had moved the scout to the highlighted tile would the lion have had a penatly for crossing the river? Diagonals are confusing sometimes.

Krill: As for the map I will get back to you when I've looked around some more. (Thanks for it, by the way)

Stonehenge t40. If I loose it I will feel quite the fool.

I haven't ended turn because I don't know whether to tech AH or pottery. At this stage of the game is that considered OK? I'm not delaying the turn but I hear people comment on other people doing it in other threads, is there something I don't get? I understand about times when there might be a turn split.

Anyway AH or pottery? AH seems like the if I can fit it in before I might actually build any cottages tech, then I can maybe settle for horse to deal with barbs and still have access to cheap warriors for mp. On the other hand I've got no short term plans for granaries or slavery which I'm finding disturbing. Should I be looking to those now rather than rushing out another settler and worker?
