The game has started! It looks like THH is playing his turn so it should be on us any moment now 
Still nothing yet. Realized that I have obelisks just today. Picked civ for techs and WC. From the bulb list, if I research Myst, Meditation, Priesthood, Poly and not Masonry, I can bulb COL with a Prophet. Something to think about.

As to bulbing, you can just research theology, bulb DR, then research into Nationalism, but I do see that is not the best way since you probably want to run pacifism during your GA. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

Yeah, looks like there was a problem with THH's start so the map had to be fixed and the save sent back to Mardoc to replay. Who knows if he's even noticed, so it may be a bit before it gets to us.
Ok thank you. Now I see that if I don't research Masonry, the option would be to bulb it with the prophet. That is very meh.

I've never played a PBEM, but isn't there a tracker we can use to see who has the save?
Thanks Commodore for pointing out the bulb change to BTS. I am lost looking at that list and trying to figure out what it means. Alhazard, I finally had a chance to watch your videos. Looks good so far. Let's see how exploration changes things, as far as which way to send the settler and what the workers will need to be up to after city 2.
I really hope we can find a good city to the west of capital in SS. By the coast or next to deer works. Need too many worker turns to setup a city to the East to start.
