So first I was greeted with this :

I suspected that Gawdzak was GJ's eastern neighbor due to the confu spread to our easternmost city, this confirms it. Also it's Gawdzak who has the GLH so no wonder he wants TRs. I don't think we should sign anything with him now, we'll lose our connection when we declare on GJ.

I also decided that 2/3 chances was good enough, I mean this guy killed our warrior with less than 1/10 so why not ?
And the result was :

I whipped two barracks to be able to start the swordsmen next turn. Hooray !

No I disagree - we should take the routes. Yes we will lose them in war but they will help us for the next 10-15 turns or so. I assume they will all be overseas so that will be another 10ish 3 gold routes. Nice on the city - how much culture do we have there? Only lost the monument so it could be worse. Any idea on the Plako tech? Which GP did he use? 18 points is a medieval tech so perhaps theology, or machinery? We should be liberal with the whip ATM with tiles that are not improved and needing an army soon! I'll look in in about an hour when I have time.

Didn't get in before the turn rolled, not looking too bad. Reoffered the open borders - we will benefit too so I think it is the smart move. Forgot to check on plakos tech, but tbf I will be happy if we manage to take out GJ. Also the other thing is now we are going war mode barracks before units in most places.

Iron is in an... interesting place. When you see where it is I think you will get the feeling that we have been shafted a bit more by this map hint - we have none in our borders.

Is it in the southern ice ? I wonder if GJ will declare war when he sees our connection to Gawdzak. It would be very aggressive and we wouldn't be able to hide our intent any more

Yeah. 2S2W of the fur city. No easy way to get it without another iceball city. Nothing on that western island nothing easily reachable to the north... He could easily do that although it would not be the end of the world... Just realised I forgot to offer a world map with that exchange... Epic fail - without the world map we cannot get routes with him :/

No just kidding, it's just some part of my brain being way too paranoid. This game is generally way too uneventful, it's time we changed that.

Sorry I played earlier and forgot to post. Already seen 1 Coton up. I also gave Gawdezk marble for 6gpt. Then offered the map trade. If I were smart I would have cancelled and offered both together. I thought going to war we aren't gonna use it so the gpt would be useful. I think we need about 10 cats 8 axe 6 spear and around 10-20 HAs for the attack... Thoughts? Maybe sooner would be better but I think we should whip hard for these peronsally.
