I don't like the idea of heading out again before sleeping because it means I don't recharge my spells. But I'll follow if you want to go anyway

Ok, we have a compromise here, we can either head out now to stand the best chance of catching him, or we can rest, allow the casters to refresh their magic, and head out fully equipped

Lucas pauses for a moment, absent minded touching his bruises as he does

I think the answer may be part way between both. I can head out now and keep watch over the entrance way, remaining hidden and observe if anyone tries to leave or enter, then when refreshed the others can come out and we will have a better idea of what the situation ahead of us is. What do people think? Lucas pauses slightly

If another person wants to come out and share the watch with me they would be welcome

That idea is too risky. We go together or alone.
i thought we had already spent the night, my mistake.

'We could set up camp in a concealed location on the spot and arrange a watch. That way, if they come, we won't miss them, but if they don't, we get our rest.'

I kind of assumed there had been some sort of time lapse and we had already spent at least one night, lol.

I had been assuming a night, as well. It was evening when you arrived at the village and it took a while for the guard to revive.

Let's assume it is the morning and head out.

It's evening, and you all frankly look like you've had a hell of a day.  I'm for getting a good night's rest and starting fresh in the morning.  Not like we could make good progress through the wilderness by starlight, anyway.  And what good is it to catch up to a foe if you're not in any shape to stop him?

Before we sleep, let me give you the gods' blessing.  I have been gifted with some healing abilities, which are only virtuous if shared.

Assuming I didn't use up anything travelling to here, I have 4 1st level spells that can be used as Cure Light Wounds.  1d8+1 hp for anyone who needs it still

'Thank you, I am indeed still a little bruised.'

After receiving the blessing, Niall inquires, 'What deity do you serve?'

I'm at 3 of 9 hit points.

"I thank you, but my remaining wounds only require a rudimentary bandage and a good night's sleep. Which is what I shall do right away."

Before bed, I compose a short message to my employers, and give it to the mayor to be delivered to them.
i don't have a name for them yet. Also, I am missing 4hp, how much does the night of sleep do for me? I don't think I need a spell, but would like to know.

If Anya is giving long term care, that's 2hp. So full with Elizabeth's minimum heal.
