Turn is not yet ended, but everything is moved, and the turn is basically done. We can end anytime. I'd like to give soooo the chance to check things over and give his thoughts since he's been managing our cities/workers on a lot of turns. Other than that, I think we're good to go. Turn should roll tomorrow night, so I'm guessing we get a turn maybe Friday night or Saturday.
Hi, thanks for the thought but I won't have time to log in before the turn rolls. Feel free to end turn, I'm sure it's all fine

Should we do the tile switch chain from Forbidden Fruit to Cutting Edge? Sooooo seconded that one.
Pity about the settler misclick - though it allows us to bring in the mace on the galley, if we place it 1SE of Winter Wasteland.

Good stuff!
I haven't watched the stream (yet), but do we have a clear tech path after printing press?
Communism beeline? (Gunpowder -> Chemistry -> SciMeth -> Communism)
Or are we in great hurry to get Rifling?
The German war is not over, but I think we need to start thinking how to become no.1 in GNP again as soon as possible.

I see no reason to detour to Rifling when we can pick up either Military Science (grenadiers) or Steel (cannons!) for a much lower opportunity cost.

I can log in and end turn. I'll check that we did the city tile chain thing kjn mentioned first. Anything else to worry about?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Drafting is a good reason for the detour, in my opinion. Being able to draft Rifles instead of Maces is a big difference.

Turn ended (is that a word?).
I also noticed the following: - CivFr hasn't met WPC
- We have 3 spices - CFC have none. Do we want to sell them some?
- We don't have sugar or incense
There are 3 incense in CivFr - they have traded 2. Apoloyton also have some - not sure if they are hooked up (it is not on their trade screen).
The following have sugar: CivFr, UniverseCiv, CivPlayers (3).
I suggest the following: - We contact Apoloyton and offer them spice for incense
- We contact CFC and see if they want to buy spice
- We contact civplayers and see if we can swing a deal for sugar
Re the last one, we would need to set up something like the following ... we trade Spice for Silk with UniverseCiv, trade Silk for Sugar with Civplayers.

We can draft Muskets if we have Gunpowder though, right?

Yes, it is. I checked your tile changes, and also switched Simple Life from the farm to the hamlet shared with Cutting Edge (1t to a village!). The city will still grow in 1t.

Apolyton doesn't have Calendar yet - they and Univers have some big tech holes compared to how far down the tech tree they are! I'm not too keen on multi-stage trades. I think we asked CivPlayers about sugar earlier, but they declined without making a counter-offer.

Generally speaking, I would think that if three top notch micromanagers left a certain tile configuration after a three hour chat session, there's probably a good reason behind it. I think we should stick to one turnplayer when possible.
I have to run.
