Nice.

I think you should consider editing out the exclamation mark in your tech thread. It's a bit joyous for my liking... alright
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Ramblings from rego. It doesn't actually tell us anything.

Quote:Hi guys,

So.... err.... uh.... how's it going? :-)

I'm not going to sit around and talk to you about how I was "bullied into" this, or "just going along", although there's some truth to both of those. Of course there's probably enough truth that I was at least a semi-willing participant as well, so it kind of all evens out from that perspective.

I don't know if any of the other players have sent anything to you, or what they've said, but at least from the Incan perspective, I don't expect this to be any kind of long-term death match. Frankly, I think that of the 4 of us, we probably got the shortest end of the stick. Not a whole lot of benefit, plus we lost all our foreign trade routes, and the gpt you were sending, as well as we've kind of had to write off our workboat since I assume you'll probably kill it.

I think it's definitely true with Expansive India, circumnavigation, GLH and the Pyramids, that you were in a near-winning position already had things continued along in builder mode. Sure, there are plenty of other strong players in this game, and HG-fueled Kyan is looking strong also, so you could argue that the punishment did not fit the crime, and that dogpiling you just lets someone else be the top dog, who has to get dogpiled, who lets someone else be the top dog, etc. etc.

Anyways, this is kind of a lot of rambling, but I did want to at least send something. I understand if you're angry with me / us and don't want to respond right now

Extended T64 report. A look through some of our cities:

Cash cow chopped a trireme. It can reinforce the Shoot the Moon channel (he has a newly built Galley in Bursa) or it can go kill Rego's workboat and then go pillage Kyan's seafood.

Bull Market chopped a chariot, to go look for underdefended Egyptian cities.

Our newest city, netted the clams this turn and was renamed to Net Profit.

The other new city, renamed to Tipping Point and chopping a granary. I considered a chariot, but we can't stagnate completely and a granary at this point is too good to pass up.

Our capital completed a chariot, will keep growing.

Trying to balance short-term mobilization and long-term strength. Investment will whip a forge next turn.

Pyramid Scheme will whip a Trireme next turn to dominate the channel between us and Darrell.

Gold Rush also completed a chariot. Along with the chariot from Capital we can go east to harass Shoot the Moon.

Trireme to be whipped for the Shoot the Moon channel:

Trading Post also founded Confucianism, our future religion, last turn, and its borders expanded this turn. That should enable it to secure its full BFC at the very least. Our galley in the eastern channel is NW of the fork point (unassailable because enemy units cannot enter ocean in our culture). It can pick up the chariots and go to the fork point with the trireme. See screenshot below.

Battle plan for the Darrell theatre:

Our Galley picked up the exploring warrior and headed home. Next turn it can pick up the chariot chopped in Bull Market and move to the clams 1N of tipping point. From there it can launch an amphibious attack on Hong Kong the turn after, or look for other targets if that city is reinforced.

Question for the lurkers: Can our warrior on our Galley upgrade while on board, when the Galley is in our culture?

How long do you plan on running those Scientists?

We'll see. Ideally all cities with enough of a food surplus should keep working them, but we may have to whip and/or emphasize production instead. I'm hoping we can make it to some painful military techs fast enough to cause our neighbours some headaches.

T65 played. Darrell has two empty size 2 cities, unfortunately only one of them is within range of our galley. Will be interesting to see what Darrell has there next turn.

Power graph - StM has mobilized more than Darrell so far.

Eastern theatre:

Upgraded a warrior to an Axeman. We'll have two axemen and two chariots over there, and will whip another galley before the trireme in Trading Post. The trireme from Cash Cow is sailing south to serve as escort. We'll see if two galleys can fork two cities and achieve something. Razing StM's newly built Moai Statues would be nice.

Rego built the Jewish shrine.
