Ok. What's done is done, there is no sense in making kjn feel worse about it than he already does. It was a mistake. Lets be calm and wait for a decision.

Why would WPC go ahead and end turn? That doesn't make any sense if they were wanting to coordinate playing the turn. Weird.

Let's ease off kjn please. Yes it was unfortunate, but shit happens.

According to the past history of this game, we should be granted a reload for this mistake, since other teams have done exactly the same thing in the past and received reloads. I didn't think that they deserved reloads then, and I don't think we deserve one now, but the game should be administered consistently, and that's the pattern thus far. Let's hope that it goes through.

I am not trying to crucify kjn. I realize that he made an honest mistake. However, I've noticed that the team has been way too cavalier in the past few turns about logins, with several different people logging in at the end of turn and changing stuff around. That kind of complacent attitude is exactly how we wind up with misclicks like this. There's a reason why we delegate unit movement and diplomacy to set individuals. Feel free to login, as always, but please DO NOT move anything unless you are the turnplayer. We cannot afford to have this happen again.

Thanks for the sympathy.

I've already proposed one thing to Scooter, and that is that we should avoid grouping big stacks of units outside of actual turn play. If I had moved a single mace or knight, then this thing would still be stupid, but hardly having any real impact on the game.

Well, I wouldn't have left them like that if I thought people would be clicking around up there. There was no reason for anyone to click up there at all or to initiate diplo with WPC for that matter... I grouped them because it made the tactical screenshot easier to read for people, but yeah I guess we should avoid doing that.

Might be worth posting that it happened while using the in game diplo screen and not realizing the game was taking the inputs outside of that screen.

For what it's worth, it might be worth agreeing as a team to only do diplo in game either in the full trading screen or not at all. When you only use the small tab window these sorts of misclicks are extremely easy to accidentally do.

If we get the reload we should also ask for the pause. Just because we want the diplo time

The pause is automatic, but we should tell at once that we do not need it ourselves.

WPC still has plenty of time left on the timer. It's CivFr and CivPlayers who are impacted by the pause.

I'm an ass for even posting this, but the know-it-all-I-told-you so bastard in me wins again smug.

It might not be bad to have a ban on non-Sulla logins during war time.

I'd trust kjn as well. He's logged into this game how many times and not messed anything up? Keeping our C&D going is probably worth a tiny risk there I'd say.
