For the last few days, Gaspar and I have been exchanging fucks. Today I have no more fucks to give.
Quote: Lewwyn: man
pb19 officially gave me nightmares last night
Gaspar:
shaken awake by the zerg-like swarm of mongolian cities?
Lewwyn: maybe
I imagined moving our next settler out of cock to Moai
and finding 6 TBS units
Gaspar: lol
that sounds about right
Lewwyn: sigh
the turn rolled
Gaspar: yeah, i noticed
though i was hoping if i pretended otherwise, it would just go away
Lewwyn: we should just get it over with
we whip two settlers this turn
you haven't logged in in a while
sooooooo
you want to play?
Gaspar: not really, but i suppose you're correct that i should
gimme like 2 mins
Lewwyn: most is self explanatory
I'll walk you through the rest
you can see where his settler moved
see just how fucked we are
Gaspar: oh fuck this game
motherfuckingfuck this game
Lewwyn: did he war dec?
Gaspar: oxy settled our moai
Lewwyn: fuck this game
just
fuck it
settle mediocre wheat and we can cut his moai off I guess
even if we sent our last cock settler to moai
Gaspar: he didnt settle it specifically
Lewwyn: we would have been too late and not enough military
Gaspar: its tough to tell from the weird way culture displays in the fog
Lewwyn: oh whatever
fuck this game
Gaspar: but my guess
Lewwyn: fuck this game in the ass
Gaspar: is the desert tile 2W
Lewwyn: I don't want to see
just eff it

The beginning of the end.
It's time for a bit of self-troll.

t86 - short version:
Slightly longer version:
So I opened the turn to this. I'm taking requests for variant goals for the game now - my personal current favorite is to ruin Oxy's life because well, I can't ruin TBS's.
Also, whatever White Knight wants to come in here and tell me some bullshit about this - just post it in the lurker thread if you must - I don't want to hear it. This is the long-term consequence of losing a chariot on 99.1% odds to a barb warrior - that chariot was to head west to explore. We would have discovered Oxy much sooner and surely that would have impacted the settling priorities.
We're thinking about not settling mediocre wheat now, since we can't plant the moai site. Instead planting 1E of the deer and then perhaps a shitty stub on the desert hill later for wheat. Its not great, but its better than mediocre wheat.
Here's where TBS owned us in the east.
We're planting a bunch of cities over the next couple turns.
Of course we're planting these with shit for support because we panic rushed out a bunch of settlers in response to TBS. Our economy is basically stagnant. Life is beautiful.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Also in case Gaspar is not clear. I changed the plan by having Q build a galley instead of the axe so we could pant the city on the other side of the lake. I think it was a smart move given what TBS has done... Oh the days when I used to give a fuck.

Correction. That + losing our scout on T8. And having dtay fuck with our warriors too.

Correction Gaspar is thinking. My response was: okay.

We have less cities than everyone and our breakeven tech rate is about 25%

I'm having trouble counting the dots on your mini map, is that going to be cities 10 and 11 by turn 89? And you're behind the other players at that pace? Double checking, everyone didn't get Joao right????
As for variant goals, that was the most delicious Moai site ever. I think you still need to settle it. So you'll have to bash Oxy's head in a little bit to clear out some space for it. . Actually maybe bash everyone's head in for all their lands.

Not all the other players. We're even with dtay who built GLH and 1 ahead of Commodore who built Oracle/Colossus. But behind Oxy, TBS and presumably Thoth, who we haven't met yet. Pretty sure you gave everyone but us IMP as an extra trait.

I think the chance of Croatia winning today is the same as that of Gaspar winning this game.
Let's just say I'm not worried.
