[SPOILERS - PBEM17] novice and spaceman - Suryavarman of India

I assume people are willing to sign white peace. No open borders though. We'll see.

We'll have a settler out of Investment for the iron, and one whipped in Bull market for the island we asked Darrell about.
I have to run.

The island WSW of Tipping Point is that? Settling on the hill for defence? Or 1W of the corn because it's shielded and not amphibiously attackable from the south side?

We've still got the land NWN of Tipping point too. That would be four off-short settlements for maximum overseas trade routes. Heavy expenses too, though, I should imagine.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Yes. Both spots are good suggestions. I unloaded the warrior there this turn to defog the rest of the island. I figure we might at least try to grab land agressively since we have no diplomatic relations anyway.

This is how I see our medium-term plan:

Research Feudalism and then Civil Service. Golden age, revolt to Confu, Bureau, Caste and OR. Make peace beforehand and so that we'll still have forced peace while settling aggressively and running Caste. Build buttloads of missionaries, run buttloads of scientists in Investment. Research Theology during Golden age, adopt slavery and theocracy at the last turn of GA. Then head for Mercantilism.

Heh buttloads.

And if we don't get peace? It's a gamble, but perhaps still one worth taking. Shame to waste a GS on a GA rather than an academy, though. I guess running Caste makes up for it given the potential turns of anarchy.

With 6 caste scientists and +100% GPP from a golden age we'll produce 200GPP during the golden age, enough for another great scientist for the Academy in Capital.

Rego builds the Colossus, predictably. We're still short of the requisite number of EPs to see his graphs. Stick 4 on this turn to get to 43?
