The Haunted Forest: Mardoc puts the Sidar to the test.

Incoming barbs are good for us. smile More exp and possible Werewolves (Baron with D4 + Blitz....drool)

Waning both Rosey and Bambur.....I like. Then we swap to Empy and build Chalid to keep. :hat:

As far as Serdoa goes....let Bob finish him off. With the Black Road pillaged by barbs, Serdoa won't be threatening us again this game. Hopefully he can bloody Bob's nose a bit before he dies. Those cities aren't worth much to us atm. Let Bob spend the blood to take them while we build up our two awesome cities. wink

Also: Yet another reason for grabbing Empy: Both Rathas and Radiant Guards get +50% vs Recon units.....which are most of our army.

Math for The Bizarre Mammaries sounds good on paper, but it's a very expensive national wonder in terms of hammers....plus those beakers could be spent elsewhere. (like on say, Religious Law and Infernal Pact for some serious Gprofit action). Altar is still doable, and it does have some nice side effects along the way. wink

You sure about this? I doubt it'll really cost that much blood - and worst case, the cities can pay for themselves with Wanes. Pump out warriors, fight the barbs, victors head toward Pacman...what's not to like? I really do think we need some more build queues, though.

I don't know that it's too likely that us having it means Bob can't, but I suppose it gives us a chance at a monopoly, anyway.

Hmm. Well, on the one hand, we're talking something like 200 base hammers, after Industrious. OTOH - if we build, say, axes or warriors with those hammers, that can easily be 45 gold, too. I'm willing to at least delay.

I did remind myself what Empy's got - and ok, yes, I want it! Chalid's not the man he used to be, but he's still pretty nice, and if we can make it to Luridus, that'll put the icing on the cake.

I'm not sure on this one...

I'd really like some more build queues, but we need troops at home to deal with the barbs and any cities we do capture are going to be expensive.

We can't prevent him (or Ellimist) from getting access, but being first there is a deterrent....and Blinding Light is awesome. wink

Those hammers could be run through the Heroic Epic instead....wink

And the beakers for Math could be spent elsewhere.

Chalid's a bit gimped....but Rathas/Radiant Guards are still very good. Plus even gimped Chalid is still ok.

As do all the lurkers (Yup, i'm speaking for all of you!)

I get on fantastically with Bob, but that's a pretty screwy agreement to make:

"Let me summon my buddy to help kill you on the condition that you don't summon yours to help kill me?"

The best thing about that is that you made an extra effort to be neat and tidy.
