Now that the game is over, I can react to a really horrible argument made today. Although I'm pretty sure when Gaspar made it, it was just tactical. When people objected to the idea of consolidating all votes on Catwalk's choice due to 'oh no, then Catwalk has to get it perfectly right, that's too much pressure to put on his shoulders'.

Guys...you were at LyLo! The whole point of LyLo is that every villager must vote correctly; a single wrong vote give scum a chance to pile on and end it. It doesn't matter who makes the mistake, any villager vote for any villager causes a scum victory (well, assuming scum are around at deadline and willing to ninja vote). So yeah, consolidating on Catwalk's vote just because you think he's a villager does force him to guess right - but he had to guess right anyway for you to not lose.

Anyway, congratulations Mafia! And Gaspar, , you were the only reason I almost suggested Brick reroll the roles. Being scum might not hurt so bad if you weren't so good at it and died early .

...and he just took of work because WW is making him physically ill. And endangering himself and other drivers while on the road. It's just me, but for the good of his children I wouldn't allow Waterbat to sign up to more of these games.

flu bug starting to go around the household - so i think its that and i wasnt ACTUALLY driving while posting - im not retarded. I was at a red light. lol actually i think a wendy's drive through and that shit is killing me pretty fast too.

I figured Gaspar was probably mafia, but didn't really suspect Meiz much beyond the suspicious post restriction thing so WP Meiz.

I'll write up notes on the role setup soon. I think overall they were mostly well balanced, with a few tweaks I would like to have made. Overall though, my opinion is that they did add interest without deciding the game in and of themselves, and the game was still decided by in-thread talking, as it should.

Next time though, a game shouldn't have this many people without ways to kill people off faster. That was mistake #1 and in retrospect I would have rather broken this into 2 games of 13, so everyone could still play but it doesn't last 6 weeks.
