Hmm, that's got a bit of potential. Does SotS2 MP work in a PBEM format, or do you have to be online at the same time as your opponents for battles and such?

Everyone is online at the same time, playing their turn simultaneously; turns roll and combat resolves once everyone has pressed end turn. There is no PBEM function, though you can of course upload static save files for succession games or the like. And you can have an AI sub for a player or vice versa at any point.

WW PMs go out when they're ready. EU4 is much better and I haven't played enough yet. I keep having these annoying sods on this forum I help run bugging me to do this and fix that, no time for fun anymore.
