Yeah, I don't think that we'll see much progression past 200 break even (if we do hit that) for more than 10 turns, especially if whipping forge>ch. But if did get 200 break even, it would make it easier to figure out when to stop saving gold.

Ichabod/lurkers: I'm OK with accepting a concession at this point, although I am enjoying the game. Krill feels the same way. It was about 40% Mike's game to concede and he just bailed. I'm not convinced the other players want to quit, but if they do, that's OK. It would be silly to ignore them and throw a sub into the game, if the sub and us are the only people who care about continuing.

The problem with zinging Krill is that his rejoinders are invariably an order of magnitude zingier .

This isn't my game. It's Sevens. I make no claim to any of the good stuff, especially the MM for the impi rush (I explicitly stated I wouldn't have done it how Seven did because if it failed then it was basically game over at that point. I thought that there would be future chances to do stuff to win, but looking at what Mike did, there probably wouldn't have been. That's what happens though when you first pick Zulu).
I think the only time I maybe persuaded Seven to do something he wouldn't normally have done was when he spammed out about 9? settlers in the previous slaving spree. And Seven would have built 6 anyway. Not exactly the more ingenious of tactical choices.

The insult rejoinders are supposed to rhyme with the original insults.
I have to run.

I knew all that, but never let facts get in the way of a zinger.
