WW33 - Walking Dead [GAME THREAD]

If you were town, Mattimeo, you wouldn't chide me for trying to win. That would be highly unbecoming.

Obviously I'm concerned that Q might decide to kill me. That you don't seem to share that concern, and would rather have everybody shut up, hardly speaks in your favor.

The Traffic Cop claim was perhaps creative, but also an instant crash and burn.

No, I'm just fully aware that I'm less persuasive than you are, and if you keep talking in any situation you've a fair chance to swing any decision 'round to your side, *whatever* that side is.
In this situation, I know that side is not town. And you wonder why I'd prefer it if you didn't spend the whole night (especially the later bit, when I'm sleeping) poisoning Q's mind against me?

You say I am unconcerned about the possibility of my own death. That is not true. If it were true, I would not be attempting to discourage you from spreading your exclusively anti-me propaganda, would I? I just do not see that much benefit in spending my time attempting to impact the decision of someone with inane "ooh, please don't kill ME" bullshit.

So yes. I *would* much prefer it if we all just shut up, didn't talk during a phase we're all theoretically asleep, and let the vig make a decision. Because I know I'll likely lose any contest of eloquence, and when I do, you and your scum-buddies win.

Q, if you look at my interactions with Catwalk, Mattimeo, and Goreripper you can tell that I'm not on a team with any of them.

That is not inane bullshit, and it's not an appeal to emotions, which I agree should be avoided in situations like this. It's just logic.

Yes, because I'm so much more likely to be on the same team as the person I hung on to and niggled at 'til he became enough of a target to be shot during the night.

Right. Logic.

Yes, you spent days 1-2 on good old-fashioned distancing. Well done. The interaction between Goreripper and me at the start of day 1 is much harder to fake, and is what triggered said distancing in the first place. I spooked him into voting for you. No reason for you not to reciprocate. That's the most comprehensive case I've ever seen you make against anyone, and on day 1, no less. In retrospect it seems obvious that it had to be distancing.

But yeah, you got your towncred from that move, and now you're cashing in on it. Not much I can do about that, unfortunately. That's why distancing is so common to begin with.

Well, you managed to change my kill. Who to, however?

Night 3 write-up:

No-one dared to sleep anymore: Falling asleep would surely be a death sentence. Some could not sleep even if they had wanted to.. These last three days had been brutal. They've had to watch their friends fall, one after another. Sleep deprivation was starting to set in. It was a miracle that the night did not end in an open shootout.

Catwalk had found himself a nice hiding spot between two shelves, next to a wall. Only one way in. There he sat, his back against the wall, eyes barely open. As long as he could stay vigilant, he would be safe. But the days had taken their toll on him, and his eyes finally closed. Half-dreaming, he heard the sound of footsteps. Not completely sure whether he was still dreaming or not, he saw a figure in front of him. Out of instinct he pulled the trigger on his concealed weapon, dealing a fatal wound to the dream figure. He however missed the real figure, who shot him in the head.

Jabbz was walking in the dark, looking for others, as he was grabbed from the shadows. It did not take long to choke him. The culprit brought a pillow to Jabbz' head, and killed him with a silenced shot.

Catwalk was killed. He was a Survivor Cop.
Jabbz was killed. He was a Bandit Goon.

Day 4 begins.

Fun stuff... smile

Not sure how to resolve this, but I'll check back in later.

In case you're curious, Q, I'm the SK, and Mattimeo is the bandit.
