Well the thing is if they are proposing peace they clearly do not want to attack... And we clearly cannot break through at all can we now? So whether we take the peace or not there will be no fighting...
Might as well take the peace I suppose? They have MC too if I recall so I don't see how we could do much damage at all...
Edit - this was before I noticed the 200 gold. Nah don't bother. Peace for free I don't mind, but might as well irritate them as much as possible!
Note with the ot4e deal we don't have sugar anymore. We need to plantation our cottage. Also we need to cancel the mackoti deal asap. I forgot we already had gold.

They got MC last turn I think. Are you sure we don't have sugar ? They offered it in a separate peace deal. The mackoti deal was less than 10 turns ago, we can't cancel it so soon.
After checking, I can confirm that we are still getting sugar from Dreylin.
Turn played, this is the state of our respective armies :
Also random pic of GJ getting a great merchant.

GJ hasn't moved towards us
But he's chasing our galley. Because we can't access the whale (it's on ocean) I just moved 2NE, I think it wouldn't be worth it to blockade and risk losing the galley. 4 numids are guarding the city.
And here's our army at the end of the turn.
Edit : Note that GJ is going for machinery. Maybe he wants Engineering ? Probably. Or maces. Actually most likely maces. Also, do you think we should fear team Dreylin ? I forgot to look at how many EPs they spent on us, perhaps they'll use GJ's threat to sneak attack from the west as they did for the island cities ?

not sure what those two units mean. There's nothing on the tile N of them, I sent a HA to check.
Do we want to revolt next turn ? Some of our cities have a low happy cap due to the whipping, and we could use the missionaries to get more happy in some cities.
And last but not least GJ declared war on Furungy. Was that the reason for the whole buildup these past few turns ? Unlikely, else the units would have been on Furungy's continent and unable to help on our front. So I'm not sure what's happening exactly.

Are you sure it was GJ who declared? It seems like they had about the same power as us or maybe more at our flashpoint. Unless it is a war of opportunity sniping a settler or something. Odd.
Unsure whether a revolt would be worth it... If we lose routes to people then our happy resources plummet. And it doesn't look like his stack is imminent. But will we get value from OR? Or better to wait until feud/beuro?
I wouldn't worry about those 2 units, they will need to heal and have cata before a reply. So probably about 10 turns, hence trying to exort gold for those 10 turns! And as you said maybe with maces to boot. At least we tried

Units wise a decent amount of cata will always be useful whatever they attack with

I didnt really worry about the units, I was more looking for a way to destroy them easily, only we need to heal first.

Received this proposal, I think we should accept actually because we'll want to get our furs back from mackoti.
Hmmm, many units on the western island, I'm glad we got 3rd ring borders.
I put the units outside MCG (except for those who need to heal), in case the galley attacks and wins.

Solid play there. There is a fair chance that OT4E might try an invasion looking at that. They saw our stack going for GJ so they know we are fairly commited over there, although at the same time surely they realise they could never hold it when GJ breaks through us, as is now inevitable...
Perhaps we need to think about a few more units over there? A few ha that could reach the city in 1 move should be enough, but visible deterrents might be better...

A few axemen and spearmen in SC would be a good way to wave them off, with a few HAs near just in case. I hate using units away from MCG but I guess we have no choice. Also I forgot to say that Gavagai stopped giving us iron, that we're getting the ice iron in like 15 turns, and that I'm starting to prepare the colonization of the northern lands from SdF, archer then settler incoming (it's size 8 working useless tiles, why not make it a base for settlement of the surroundings ?). Also MCG pops the next ring in 8 turns.
