BTW we're actually only 15 turns from getting iron, I forgot that we had a library in RB for +2 culture instead of +1. I say we go machinery-engineering after feudalism. Of course a detour through civil service is probably better for the economy with bureaucracy but 3 moves road is a huge boost, and so is pikes against numids/potential knights incoming. And we probably should get walls and castle in MCG.

Lots of news, first Furungy and GJ made peace. Second GJ fired a golden age and revolted into HR, OR, Vassalage and serfdom. Also hinduism. Third the AP and the temple of Artemis were built last turn. Finally GJ started teching again with 2t for machinery. They have 662g in the bank, so assuming they're going straight for guilds and they have enough cash to get it in one go they'll have it in 662/(this turn's gold-next turn's gold) turns. We'll see how much that is next turn. With their GA it's probably not going to be long (we're at -58gpt at 100%, with all the maintenance they must have with all their cities they must be at a much higher deficit).
Next turn we'll be done with operation naval flexibility so we can send workers west to hook the third silver, now in our culture, and wait for 13t till the iron is in play. I also want to mention that I handled SdF very poorly during the time it wasn't producing troops like everyone else. It's at size 9, unhappy, using some very bad tiles and because 4 pop whips are very ineffective I don't want to whip the library at 11/90. But I also want to pump settlers our of there. And finally we're 91k behind GJ in power. Yay !
Argh turns out I was wrong about forts, in this case they don't work as a canal (is it because one of them doesn't touch a body of water ? Or because it's on a hill ?). Every city is growing, and I triple whipped the Moai to make use of it right away.

 It turns out that the GJ/Furungy war wasn't totally fake even though it didn't last long. Does anyone know how to analyse the WW system ? I'd love to know how much fighting that represents.  I triple whiped the library in SdF so as to avoid unhappiness and undesirable tiles.

 I accepted because why not, and because maybe we could use the 10 turns to launch an attack on Dreylin ? Those island cities should be ours ! This is GJ's front line army, there's a lot of numids behind that I'm sure. You'll notice that GJ's 3 turns from guilds. At 100% we're 14 turns from engineering. Ain't that sweet.  Possible plan for a Dreylin attack ? We have lots of HAs that could be on that tile on turn 1 of the war, forking the southern city and the sheep tile. The tile 1W of that is attainable on turn 1 of the war as well if we want a 1-mover surprise attack. 
I shall be back in as of this evening. Will post fully then. We are out of a turn split now yes so I will jump in and give my thoughts on everything.
