Intersite Game - Turn Discussion Thread

It's a questions of, can we get Rifling faster than GA, if we whip Mansa? Will it save a turn on Rifling?

Also, I think I agree with KJN on those 3 infra builds. Do we continue this level of unit building until turn 175, if Poly/CP doesn't declare on 170?

We've already accepted that fact. Why would the GA be bad if we haven't gotten Rifling yet by that time? Or even if we have.

We build up through T175 at a minimum because they could have agreed to all attack at that point.

If we've accepted that fact, then we should whip the Bank at MM, wait for our population to regrow before starting any GA, and not take out usurious loans to rush Rifling.

Agreed. We use the overflow from those builds and put them into catapults. We'd get 25-35H into a catapult on T+1, and then we 1-pop whip it T+2. But instead we can put that overflow into a building (finishing it) on T+1, put hammers into a catapult T+2, and 2-pop whip T+3.

This forum is the Mutara Nebula of the internet, and my sarcasm sensor is non-functional smile. Serious or not, yes I believe we should turn tech off.

Hi guys, the turn report thread hasn't been updated for the last few turns - would you mind keeping that thread going? It's very useful to keep track of the game. Some people don't have time to watch the streams.

P.S: Hold firm on the golden age plan at Mansa's Muse. It's our main hope of recovery, and to abandon that for an earlier bank is folly.

To be clear, in my idea to 2-pop whip the bank in MM, I didn't think we should whip off the specialists, but the gold mine (to be picked up by Forbidden Fruit) and probably a plains cottage. That's exactly why I limited it to a 2-pop whip. The city can grow back once we get the great person done.

I guess I don't understand this at all...presumably we are going to get peace and a NAP at the cessation of hostilities. Given that, why would we not want to time the GA to be after we've regrown as much population as possible?
