Oh look a poster,  I just finished a setler this turn and will setle here


   


This will put me at 8 cities, usualy even in FFH were a setler is 140 hammers and there is no slavery i like to build 10 cities till turn 100, but will be not the case here not becasue there are no spot left(there are still 2 decent spot cities having fish like food) ,but becasue of Dave instead of researching fishing, sailing, sanitation(strange name for a tech which gave abuilding with -1 health) i had to go for war techs, beacsue there is no city capable building setler at good pace besides capitol and that will be 100% on war toys and becasue those cities need border expansion and again I need to prepare for war.


And yeah I plan to build some horseman, ah boarriders becasue of the 40 % against centaurus(well in civilopedia says they are mounted).

Well some story is true some is not. Here are the demos after GA ended , so we can discus over them  


   

As you can see my lead in hammers is practicaly my world spell, 12 hammers free from those engineers, my lead on food is a totaly of 2 while GNP is a bit better mine but i am fully reaserching with 60 gold lost turn so will be more near 120 so not a big difference as well.


   
From this you can see i have clearly double of citezens then dave  and some in others  around 20%.


   

Well from this is prety clear that Auros is the one with 11 population , 99% the 10 population is miguelito as he score is biiger.

So do I have an advantage over other? lets see...

DAVE- I realy belive i have upper hand in conflict with him right now  becasue he stoped improving his civ all his eforst is just to harm me, I am realy courious after game if he realy was that close to me and he had no space in other direction to plant any sentlements to get other resources, practicaly he is at this size for more the 25 turns now clearly he didnt aquired other happines or something. 

Cairo-Low score and post so few, I think I am better devoloped like him as well, but i think he is beter then dave but not more dangerous. Oh this is about dave again he got a scientist but his science didnt grow so he is in bulbing arcane lore, for mages he can get another one in 10 turns or so if working 2 scientist in some city. Well that means blinding light, chainlighning and other nasty stuff lets hope he doenst get enough mages.

Miguelito, I think he stays very good and I am 99% he is second in food and production as elf production is very good and his score, without building 2 wonders is higher Auror.I have no advantage over him as he gets agresiv, and has  the civilization trait which makes hunters, and fawn very good units  get his uber asassins(atack 7, ouch) and he is set.


Auror, well what he is doing i wanted to do myself, get the kilmorf the shrine and build the mines of balgadur, get the hero, but when i was ready to start on that path well Dave showed me centaurus and started roaming around my cities so I was forced to get BW , and i seen in far away country killmorf was founded so I gave up as   losing the shrine and maybe loosing the competition for the mine was too much and i needed mobilty otherwise Dave centaurus would had spread havoc on my land.

So what auro cand do costin perhaps 1/5 beaker from costs me to get same eficient army? get the mines m upgrade the best wariours, from my corner i have like 4-5 wariours with over 10 experience , if not get some comand post and he can get 6 experience on the axes. So 6 strenght axes with enchanted blades and some trebuchets if he feels like 6/4 and he is set.Well this was my plan as well less th trebuchets but Dave ruined everithing so now I improvise.

I think researching hunting saved my game as i had 2 deers to work and i could grow 2 more size on capitol and as well getting those eles and spiders was huge, to bad no scorpion was on my area although there were  5-6 desert tiles.

Oh  and Dave sniped one of my wariours at some 60% odds prety risking considering that Dave was doing this   .

FWIW I'm enjoying lurking this game, and your posts are interesting! I just know nothing about FFH, and don't want to ask bad questions.

Edit: Are you planning to attack Dave soon, or will there be a cold war for longer? Will we get to see boar riders?

Yes i am in defensive and every turn i am what dave is doing, he has there 2 storm mages which can act from 2 tiles distance and one mage with fire elemnts which right now as well but he can upgrade him to target from 3 turns.

What save my bacon right now are the animals which i  hunted  have big strength and storm is getting just 30% of theyr health so those remain prety strong and he doenst get odds on centaurus. But that will change soon enough whe he gets 3-4 more firebal mages as those will target them and get them to a low strenght.

To see how the  situation is just check the power chart and consider that i produce 2,5 more then Dave 

   

I was  forced to start a GA even the timing is not good , because otherwise dave will destroy me.

I am a litlle jealous on the other as I bet they get more space to develop and not have a Dave near by which used Legends to cut any posibilities of expanding and contact other and dont have mages to deal with. In las game I had Auros which was near me to kill me with mobious now dave with this.
Looks like there is no building game  for me.

Yeah we have 2 boar riders and more to come.

I can see a bunch of 4 power only units. Can't you get a first strike and clean this stack ?

This turn I razed  Dave capitol, my golden age finished and something like this is the real situation


   

As i see my demos are mediocres right now and will stay like this for a while.  Practicaly because dave centaurus and maeltrom and he asking every time for Dealunegru when I offered peace(I supose he feel he is entitled to that pozition, perhaps becasue he doenst know if he had a city ther with his culture he willl had culture 4 tiles from my capitol and me having sapace for 4 cities    , i supose Dave would have enjoeyed that)

practicaly this game for me is killing dave(will take a while till i get my own maelstrom mages) and see who will be the superpower then(from demos looks like will be Miguelito).

I am realy courious what on the other side of Dave land, he had no space there, was the land that bad? Or like happened me in many games people play in spite against me...,I for sure remeber dave doing it in some pbem before.
