Superdeath and the Revenge of pb38

Basic stuff is covered by signs. If a random stack of threatening units comes, ask for a pause i guess? I can answer questions via discord.... usually.

Turn 72:

I played the turn didn't realize you had peace treaty with Joshy so I moved the axe and Q in defense against the spear.

Tarkeel is pushing the border with a settler:

Not sure you can stop it right now.

Pasture online in Ben, that means the sheep wasn't being worked.

Cap should be building a Q I think, I gave it the sheep so that it grows EOT but you have no garrison right now. Possibly swap to the settler next turn to 2 pop whip it.

One other recommendation for you as you continue here, whip a galley and another settler and get an island city up. High priority. That plus cottages will keep you competitive.

Waiting 2 more turns to finish a couple libraries, and then im teching HBR-Archery and saving gold/teching towards Currency while i shit out all the HA's/axes that Joshy isnt going to be prepared for. Going to move in on his coastal cities with 2-maybe 3 galleys as well. By the time of the attack, i expect to have my shrine up and Joshy has been kind enough to spread the religion at least a little bit.

I have 5 cities that will be dedicated to units in the coming turns with the rest focused on commerce or smallllllll whips.

Peace with joshy is up in 3 or 4t i forget which, and he doesnt have horses hooked up hence the potential massed axe followed by a bunch of HA's..

Any questions?

Well done getting 3 island cities up and getting both fur islands next to you! Are your cottages maturing?

Ive got a couple hamlets, I started cottaging a bit late in favor of pumping out as much everything else as possible, but the land will be covered in cottages soon.

Im solidly 10th in food (not working a irrigated rice as the city shouldnt grow this turn) and... 9th? in GNP at full burn. HBR will be done on t94. Archery either t95, or t96. All production cities will be pumping axes or HA's depending on if i see any horse or any power climb from Joshy.

Someone jumped 20 production over what the last rival highest was, which i can only assume is a somewhat early GA.

Even though its because of religion culture, im still happy my capital is a top 5 city lol

Joshy sent me this last turn after i had sent him a straight up fish-fish the turn before. Dont know if misclick or if he wanted me to ... bribe him? Or something, either way my fish-fish was to continue to lure him into any kind of false sense of security that i can while i amass a stack.

Sent this to Tarkeel last turn with him not having logged in yet to view it. Basically saying he should join in on the Commodore/TBS war while i fight Joshy so that we can remain peaceful between us. I dont really want stabbed by War Chariots when i have 0 spears currently.. nor do i want to have to send my stack of HA's/axes his way.. SOOOOOOOOOO, hopefully he more or less signals that this is fine.

Graphs incase anyone was curious. TBS is doing TBS stuff otherwise i feel im pretty competitive on my own starting area? Especially if i can eat Joshy without much trouble.. Speaking of which:

If it wasnt for the fact that i dont want him to start much military yet i could have razed or captured this city. As it is, i will have 2 or 3 galleys full of axes ready to go a sailing.

2 more empty cities with a 3rd about to be founded this turn. Man, he really wants me to whip 2 more axes doesnt he. ... i will probably just to raze and resettle these cities so he has less whipping power.

The core.

Capital is a mix of a production and research center. Because its the holy city i cant really ignore cottages and libraries/ect but its got so many hills it can work that i dont feel right turning those into windmills down the road either.

Bring me to life is the primary research center. Working the gold + all available cottages at its disposal. It would be working more but its working the horse for added production to finish off some buildings, and it was the earliest city to get started on the GProphet production since i missed out on the Henge.

Breaking Ben and Seether are both Major production centers, with BB having to help work some cottages while its mines are being built.

30sToMars is going to be another little research center until i get IW to unlock some more hills for it to work.

Any questions?

Im debating if i want to take a chunk out of him and then digest later... or go for the kill right away. It makes the difference on how hard i whip most of my cities, a difference between invading with 3 galleys full + 5-6 HA and double the HA count. ID say within 10t easily.
