Rough thoughts on build order. 2 chopped forests into the settler, and the worker will go to copper. Hook up/road, and then road 1SW (if settler/wheel timing works out) 2nd worker builds on grass mine/wheat/fish and either starts that river grass mine, or chops the other settler. I changed the settling spots/ideas. Next couple images are of those thoughts.

The far south deer/copper/fish/crab city should be a production monster. 3hills + copper and i could either watermill or lumbermill the other tiles for some nice production. Watermill maybe, and use the forests for... Moai? HE? Forge? Who knows. City to the east of that monster city is barely above filler, as its a deer and a couple floodplains. City northeast of that can work silver + borrow from the capital to grow large enough to work its cottages maybe?

West city working deer, can borrow wheat kind of lame city overall unless something is hiding in that 1 fogged tile. Going to be real pissy if Fabled settles 1NW of the wine and locks me out of any city on that border.. Northern dye city has first ring cows, and 2nd ring dry rice.. So not amazing, but with some irrigation and time it might not be a bad city. Northeastern corn/banana city probably just plants as many cottages as possible + specialists? Copper sheep clam city is of course the big-must-have city of this incredibly small map, if it farms the floodplains to the south it can (should i havent simmed/looked too deeply on it) be able to work all the hills + several workshops for later game use.

Thats all i have for now. Except, Question for Charriu/lurkers. Whats the barbarian/settler thing all about again? Was it a guaranteed free win if the settler is stacked with something? Can it roam alone? Any info on that would be greatly appreciated.

So an interesting situation happened. Bing's warrior showed up. A bear was right next to it, and.... it won FLAWLESSLY. I call some bullshit on that. Current plan is to beat Bing's warrior to his capital. Might be able to get an easy kill this way? Doubtful, but would be kinda fun. Going to hope that bing doesnt roll the turn, and i can play before him. General idea is if he steps onto my tile ill move NE and declare. (if i see a warrior in the capital i wont) If he doesnt step on my tile, i straight up declare and move onto the forest tile 1E of my warriors current location. Providing he doesnt run his warrior straight at me (a possible move if he knows he can get a warrior in the capital) ill sit there/go after his capital until my settler pops.

Goal #1: Kill Bing if possible.
Goal #2: Settle copper/clam/sheep city with enforced peace up. That will allow enough time to get proper defense, and to start pumping settlers without having to worry.

Why move E instead of NE in scenario 2?

if he magically has been pumping warriors, id rather have the option of multiple forest/forest hills to step back onto then being stuck 2NW of his capital on a forest tile unable to safely/under forest cover get back to my city/capital.

Otherwise, no particular reason.

Well if your plan works and you eliminate bing that way, then I would dare to call this a FLAWLESS elimination. wink

Bing can make a new warrior from zero if he puts in the first 5 hammers this turn. I'd give pretty low chance of success and high chance of agitating him smile

On those northern cities, kinda hard to say if they are viable without defogging more. If there is space then sure might as well have two rather than just the one we planned.

Pretty sure being next to Superdeath of AGG/CHA Rome will already be agitating. Basically i just need to hook up copper and i wont care anymore. Ill be safe to make it to Iron Working, and being next to 2 newer players... im hoping for a sweep.

Apparently, i did not witness a flawless bear win. So thats good to know... Maybe he will move that warrior SW this turn mischief

Looks like i might be able to snag his worker if he hasnt changed any settings ect. Can be hard to catch workers that have their worker-turns pre-planned(?) for the turn. Either way, safety warrior is started (at least 1t into it, can whip later if needed) as current plan is to force him to pop a warrior in response, get a 10t peace treaty and claim these hills for my own.... also my copper is in such a shit spot. Commodore i thought we were even from pb38 cry

Single-minded-focus. Putting more EP into me is un-courteous, shows that he doesnt want me to have info on him on t26.. and just puts me on guard. With how many neighbors ive met already, there is no way that Bing hasnt met someone else. (he hasnt met my other neighbors, but i havent met anyone else). Shaaaady business.

So judging from all this, war is inevitable. There is no peaceful relations with Bing in this game.
