Plan is to hit these 2 cities. Pure Cataphract. c1shock beats anything on flat ground, and SAC needs Machinery and engineering before he can produce pikes, and his tech rate seems... Low. Once i hit around 15 cataphracts i think im going to go for it. Eat as many cities of his as i can and consolidate for probably infantry. Cataphracts +cats are pretty hard to attack into if i can get this land.
Cornflakes has a larrrrrrrge garrison equal to basically my entire military stationed in this area. While that is a great city (and im REALLY still pissed that he went out of his way to grab that rightfully my-city from me) i think the maintenance cost from this garrison alone cant be worth the trouble. IF he hadnt attacked me here, he wouldnt even be on my list of targets. Could have had a GREAT border, and shared in eating SAC to get out turn pace back to normal. If SaC had been almost any other player, i feel Cornflakes would be in a MUCH worse position and i probably could have taken the city back, or never lost it in the first place. Sigh.
Any other questions?

I dont even complain about the less than 85% losses anymore.. Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Lets see what SaC/Cornflakes does. Gave SaC a peace treaty offer for Crash, doubt he will take, but if he does i MIGHT be able to smack Cornflakes' stack. If Cornflakes peaces' out and leaves me with SaC ill probably try and keep my gains and let him be. I have to attempt to counter Cornflakes while i can since no one else seems to want to do it. Sigh.. id be friendly with cornflakes this WHOLE GAME, if he hadnt captured that city from me. Im very likely to suicide rush his cities here soon just for the way he treated that. Next time, let me have my border city in that FAIR location. Could have been friends bud. Could have been.

Cornflakes peaced out with SaC as i was expecting. Mjmd joins vs SaC.. i declared on Cornflakes to force him to either accept peace and let me slowly eat SaC, or allow me to better prep myself for my suicide run.
Small issue is i sent SaC a peace treaty last turn for his Clash? city.. and this turn i sent a blank peace treaty offer. Half hoping he accepts. If he does the (imo) stupid thing of not accepting and then giving Cornflakes open borders... im going to have a field day.
Any questions? Concerns? Memes?

Are you happy with your unusual (for you) leader/civ combination? Are Cataphracts worth the slow agony of FIN/ORG?

In a word.. Yes. Really, its just poor land quality and not rushing to settle towards SaC/bing border as fast as id have liked.. Also the whole "gross profit" city being snatched from me kinda fueling a need to burn things.

What's the biggest mistake you've made this game?
Also, could we have an empire overview?

(turns out there was a worse outcome.. him accepting) First off. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. SucksAtCiv is practically a vassal state of Cornflakes. Every war, gives cities basically for free to the guy. Opens borders with him. Doesnt build any military or EVEN CATAPULTS. Most recent war, builds a shitload of longbows, looks like he might actually defend semi-okay. (still doesnt have catapults) What should be a GAME LONG ENEMY in Cornflakes, gets him to pull his longbows from defending against Cornflakes to send a wall of Longbows and other assorted shit where i had to attack it.
He then peaces Cornflakes and either Cornflakes or He, offers open borders. AND ACCEPTS. (also accepting my peace treaty i had send after i had gotten my war gains i was looking for)
So... Cornflakes gets an even bigger upperhand than he already had. Fuck that.
Im so enraged that im almost using language that i would regret saying later. I like Cornflakes i do, he is a Tough S.O.B. to play against, and i respect that. But idk what the fuck is happening between him and SaC, but it reeks of douchebagness and im not going to stand it. This isnt even a game i have ANY expectations of winning at ANY point. I was happy to be along for the ride.
Is SaC's bizarre behavior due to me ripping on them for being the most inconsistent player ive seen in a very long time in the tech thread? Do they have a grudge against me personally? Does the guy just roll a D20 and decide what he is going to do that day?
To answer your questions Tarkeel:
My biggest mistake this game is not calling for the game to be cancelled or for a sub for either myself, or SaC when it became apparent that it was Cornflakes' game to lose.
Someone give me a reason not to say something in the tech thread.

I get your frustration, but we can't just yoink out players when their moves stop making sense lol
I would have offered to sub for SAC a while ago given the turn pace, but I was always thoroughly spoiled

And SAC getting Cornflakes to hit your army after you backstabbed(?) him seems like a pretty normal reaction to the stab.
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.
