If you are dying to play something, then I suggest you follow my lead and try a shadow of one of the old events. I finished Warlords 1, and Adv 10 is being played.

I unreservedly recommend the Fall from Heaven mod if you're looking for something to play while waiting for the next event.
Realms Beyond Epics Page Wrote:Each game will have a Sponsor. Any player can sponsor an event if they can win approval of their scenario design. A Sponsor will be in charge of the particulars for a game: map settings, opponents, optional rules, victory conditions, type of scoring (if any), difficulty level, any variant rules or mod/ map/ customization, and length of time for the contest to remain open. T-Hawk, Kodi and Griselda all sponsored Civ3 games maybe one of them has a proposal?
On League of Legends I am "BertrandDeHorn"
It's not a lack of proposals. Multiple people, including myself, submitted proposals since the start of the year.
Kodii Wrote:From what has been mentioned several times before, I wouldn't think so. It seems like an event is closer than we imagine, or at least on its way there. Just in case the event comes out soon, we wouldn't want to distract from it. It seems there are no guarantees though...Here I am confused again (not really a surprise in and of itself ![]() ![]()
There is no rule to have only one event open at a time IIRC. We had multiple open events in the past, didn't we?
Anyway, there is always the SG option for the really restless. ![]() Also, Monday is not over yet ![]()

In my humble opinion, if an event doesn't appear today, someone should start an informal one tomorrow, and then Sirian should just hold off on the new offical event a few more weeks. I'm all for giving the man all the time he needs, but if we're going to be kept totally in the dark I don't see any need to sit idly by waiting.

I mostly agree, except that I would prefer that Sirian announce and launch the next game(s) as soon as he is ready. Too many games (especially after a long break) seems a better compromise than too few. |
