haha Selrahc - excerpt of my pre-kill note on you:
I actually believe him and think he is innocent , but as a villager, I would be pissed! So I tried to convey that emotion in my posts.

Also = I only spent a few minutes on it, but I ended up on rumkin.com trying to decode your post It definitely looked like a substituion cipher, but I wasnt getting anywhere with frequency analysis and figured I could spend all week trying to decode it and gave up.

of course hindsight being 20/20 - if I knew that there was the possibility of being a silver blooded villager out there, I should not have risked it. Kind of like going all-in in a tournament poker game - sometimes the benefits of still being alive outweigh the benefits of logically correct play. Therefore, I should have killed some I definitely suspected as wolf. I just felt like the wolfs we had in mind were too risky based on their activity and voiced suspicions.
Molach wasnt doing *anything* suspicious either - so I figured he would be a poor day lynch candidate.
In the event he did roll wolf, i was going to try to pair Bigger with him - i think it would have worked (if anyone would have taken me seriously in this game (i doubt it) )
Hah, I don't think it was the stupidest. Though I did think another kill might be better mostly because if I was playing wolf I think I could have made a really strong case to lynch him.
The funny thing is, you DID know about Silver-bloods. You were the pack that had knowledge that they were in the game. I thought it was incredible ironic that not only did you end up killing one by you actually almost targeted another as well. I was super curious if you guys would be cautious on night 1 and simply choose not to kill anyone. I have more to say on the subject but don't really want to spoil anything for the viewers at home.

You'll be glad to know there is discussion about it, so it is documented. I won't spoil anything about it just yet though.

Lewwyn -
I softly pushed for the "let's not kill anyone" plan early in the QT. My gut told me it was the best play - but being totally green, I had nothing to base it on. Plus my team thought it was better to not waste a day. Also wanted to not kill to confuse the village on the number/nature of the packs. For example, without my kill, there would have only been 1 dead villager and it would have been one that would have given little info.
I didnt want to even spoil the fact that we knew about silverbloods
I was laughing because my phrasing doesnt make sense - "In hindsight," and then "If we knew"

Yeah, I only mentioned that that was your pack knowledge because know that the silver-blood is in the open everyone knows so I didn't think it would spoil anything about the game itself for the people lurking now. But on everything else I'm still keeping it confidential for the moment and I appreciate you trying to do the same.
I hope the experience was fun even though it was short. Being your first game here and all.

It was fun! thanks for the setup! I am disappointed I am dead, but also relieved. I was really starting to obsess over what I was going to do on day 2

I must say I do like the Selrahc gambit, very catwalkesque indeed The reasoning that wolves might kill you is sounds, although I was convinced you were just a villager being a jackass That said, it'd make more sense if you were silverblood or had a similar ability. As a vanilla villager, I'd consider the risk of disruption too great. How would you call your bluff on day 4 if you survived that long?
waterbat, don't sweat it about the comments. Some people are a little too full of themselves, especially when it concerns how infalliable they themselves are. And especially when they happen to be right or someone else happens to be wrong.
Molach, did you know that the wolves knew about the silverblood? And waterbat, did you know that the silverblood knew that you knew about him? And Molach, did you know that the wolves knew that you knew about you knowing that they knew about the silverblood? (and let's do another 4-5 of those)

Yeah, I wanted to avoid giving New players wolf roles, but in the end I just decided a true random roll was the only real way to be fair.

We did not know that the villagers knew about their silverbloodedness, but we assumed it. We also assumed that if someone investigated a person, it would be revealed as their power.
Indeed Catwalk, my inclination was that Selrahc was silverblooded. In fact so did one of my other teammates:
wolf A: Speaking of which, I wonder if Selrahc is silverblooded.
wolf B(me): I just came here to post "I wonder if Selrahc is silver-blooded"
we all thought that he was an easy mislynch and wouldn't be night killed.... of course we also didnt decode his fake claim either! I can't wait to see if one of the other packs decided it and that was their reasoning. Also- they didnt know about the silverblood thing, so they wouldn't have the precaution we did.
Selrahc, Still not sure about the usefulness of this whole play to the village though. Unless a) the village decodes it and b) the village knows you were faking it, they arent going to learn much, right? I guess if you had lived longer...

very glad you rolled it randomly! very glad i got wolf, even if it was the first time. It will make me a better player knowing what it is like.
Also - elaborate on the very good case you would make against Molach?
Glad to hear we almost hit another silverblood - it seems I was doomed to eat it either way That one was more wolfy than Molach (to me)
