Yes, you're supposed to be asking questions of us to keep it interesting though.

I'll admit I just really skimmed the last 40 posts or so since I have no conviction on the candidates. I don't think Rowain is scum though he's going to get lynched eventually, at least he'll make good company for me in here.

Selrahc always seems scummy to me, so I don't really know, though at the moment I'd wager on town for him as well.

I'd be screaming Merovech over and over if I was in thread. His post here reminded me exactly of thestick's play on day one of my last game.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Not gonna lie, I was scared it was going to be just me and Tasunke. lol

Merovech is so, so obvscum I don't even know what to say.

I'm lurking! Which is probably a good thing, since if I was playing I'd have to policy lynch MJW, tasunke, ryan and qqqqqq just to make the thread less painful to read.

I'd find Merovech suspicious on the grounds of sending me a PBEM save 3 minutes after the WW deadline. Yes, it's meta...
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

Yes it is interesting how none of the soo smart people didn't even react to his post. Even after I quoted it.

I think 3 scums are to find in this list; Merovech, Bigger, Qg, Selrahc/uberfish (only one of those 2 with me far more leaning on Selrahc. uberfish is only in there because i can't fathom that he is really that stupid and can't understand what Serdoa and MJW have tried to explain him)

Not so much convinced but knowing that I had no item made the risk with lynching Tasunke too high. And the fact that several people (villagers) are so absolutly stupid with still repeating the same BS time and time again no matter how often they get shown via quotes that they are wrong that I had really no interest to hear those s***heads any longer.
(to note: that solely counts for villagers. scum has free passes to do what ever they need to win)
For example

banghead
pindi are you dumb on purpose or was Mother Nature not kind to you? Lynching the villager with the card is better than lynching a random villager. Thats all. And please note that once I found a player more likely scum (selrahc) I voted for him. I have now to hope that you are scum.

I think you get a little bit too much dog with a bone, Rowain, which is inevitably what ends up getting you lynched. I don't agree with you necessarily on the fool card, but I also don't clear novice, et al. I've come to the conclusion that day one its best to avoid the big reputation players and focus on the less reputation guys - there's always at least one scum who will cave to pressure, sometimes more. I don't think Merovech or Mattimeo can handle the pressure if they're scum. The novice's and zakalwe's of the world get really obvious on day 2-3 if they don't start making calls and then you can up the pressure on them with less noise.

Anyway, this is going to be another scum win if the Ouija holder doesn't get lucky - there are way too many lazy villagers out there. To your credit Rowain, you're never lazy, even if I often disagree with you in thread. Disagreement is healthy for catching scum anyway, unless of course it becomes the only topic.

Agree with it. It also interesting that both novice and I tried to move away from the topic but others did butt in to rekindle it.

Hey, I'm back. I was starting to kick myself for not joining when this game started, but looking at 50+ pages again on Day 1 I'm pretty happy to be lurking for now. I really, really like this setup Brick. smile Tonight should be interesting with all the items around.

This is an excellent idea, how do you think you'd go about doing this in practice? I guess I'm curious about what you're thinking about here in terms of pressure. A lot of players simply don't respond much until they actually get some meaningful votes on them.

I've only really skimmed through things, but fwiw I'm really torn on the "policy lynch novice". Ultimately I think if novice played things optimally he probably should have only claimed if he was a wolf and another wolf has the card (and not necessarily then, it would be a calculated risk) and not claimed at all if he was a villager, but the the whole "millers preemptively claim" thing is ingrained enough he might not have thought things through. My gut meta-instinct is the village would be more likely to start with the card than the wolves, though. All things being equal I probably wouldn't have gone along with it, but if I had some amount of village read on the other player(s) on the block I could support it as a policy lynch. I definitely wouldn't vote to lynch someone because they suggested it.
