Well, this is filling up fast.

To give people who haven't spotted the thread yet a chance, I'll close signups at the end of Wednesday the 23rd.

I actually hate the elected mayor system and think the situation we ended up with in WW19 where we had a basically unkillable town mayor was a bit too village favoured. I might try a different mechanic, no guarantees.

so don't make a double voting, double commuter, immune to fire villager then, and don't make a village jailer that redirects any actions targetting him to another target. that was the problem with ww19, not the mayor mechanic!

anyway I'd be just as happy with any other non-random mechanic that you can come up with. mayor is just the simplest solution, but not the only one.

Hey now, he was talking about the mobster game, not the dragon game :P (that was 18)

But anyways, I wouldn't of made the elementals masons if more people had signed up (yes ... yes ... I should have just had less scum. I have learned my lesson on that. 21 will be different ^_^ )

@Bigger Well since it was only your mayor role that killed Lewwyn in 18 I'm against a mayor. Random is far more fun

@Tasunke: Uhm Too many scum was the least of the problems with your game balancewise . (Overall it was fun)

Calling WW19 broken when we did go into a 2-1 endgame does not sound fitting imo. Maybe give the village credit for a win earned, instead of calling it broken?

As for your point about the mayor: I don't think it is an issue. Me being Mayor had no effect on the last day at all. Me being confirmed villager though did.

Interesting how THIS particular story from newsweek doesn't even mention the words supposedly 'quoted' from the newsweek story. I mean YES its a positive review, but are childrens videogames just MAKING UP quotes now adays!? Maybe it was a quote from one of the Newsweek crew during some convention type arrangement where they met in person. And then, perhaps the quote is from that off-the-cuff talk. This would convince me that the ... is indeed 'fuckin' or some other word of curse.

@Serdoa. I think you and Bigger are both saying that the mayor isn't unbalancing. So at least you agree about that. I also think the town mostly played well in WW19 and deserved the win, for what it's worth.
