Thanks. Saw the opportunity after my last wave of settlers, and decided it was worth it. Unfortunately I still have a lot of work to do on building up my commerce generating ability.

Any long-term plans at the moment?

Not sure pissing off the other lowish ranked civ is a great idea when it doesn't even harm them, but I guess I'll hope they go after Lewwyn or pindicooter despite my act of aggression.

I'm not too sure where to go from my current position. I don't have the tech to attack Lewger without a huge military build up, but a huge military buildup will put my economy in an even worse position (if that's even possible). I think I'll try to maintain enough of a defense to dissuade them attacking me, while settling the islands down the south.

Given your name scheme, can I assume you watched the Dr Who special last weekend Azza?

How goes the Companions Empire? How many cities are you at now? How long before you name a city Mickey?

I didn't see the special yet, I'm still only about halfway through series 7. Need to catch up on that too now that I'm free of uni.

Since I haven't updated for a month and a half, I already have a city named Mickey.




Wilfred will be built on the sheep island next turn.




We've also got Sarah Jane in the north, securing silks.




And River and Astrid in the south/south east. So 12 cities next turn.




Also harassing Dhalphir's attempts to settle on the island between us.




And demographics. Pretty solid, nothing spectacular though.

If I keep expanding into the southern islands, I'm going to run out of companions (since I've never really seen the old Dr. Who and so don't want to use them) so I'll probably start naming after villains before long.
