Ugh, 5 people have already played their next turn while we're waiting for a reload. This does not bode well for the future of this game. Have fun with that when we have wars going on.

I don't think it's really much of a bad omen for the future. People will probably more careful when they're playing a war turn instead of something they can replay in 1 minute like the current ones.
