In the "things that made me laugh" category, my delegation to Spain reported the rumor that Spain had just received a new delegation from Russia. Hmmmm, Russia happens to be me, so I know that this particular rumor is true! Nice work, guys! Keep that vital information coming! lol

That's what happens when you demand your workers give you daily reports lol

So I knew that Settlers and Builders were supposed to increase in cost with the more cities you got.

But districts do too!?

Yes. They were making sure they could slow you down smile (if only this info was available in-game....)

Districts actually also seems to increase in cost over time. Factories and internal trade routes seem like they're quite valuable for keeping up. Oh, and don't forget forest/jungle chops!

My first impression was during install. I got the CD version, so why the F*(&) do I have to connect it to my Steam account? It is supposed to be a *stand* alone version.

I personally don't care for Steam, and use it as little as possible. I don't want to track all those achievements, and for me it is a distraction.

Steam is the DRM service they use. There has to be the info somewhere on CD that Steam is required to install and run the game

So it's like your civ gets worse at building things the more time that goes by?

For some reason, the "make it cost more" method for braking growth is the most unfun method for me. I'd take corruption back in a heartbeat over this.

The builder cost increase is the worst part for me.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

The bad part about ordering online.  You don't see that fine print.  I verified it is on the box, and is something I never would have expected.  I've gotten plenty of CD based games, and I've never encountered this before.

What is "DRM"?  I've never heard that phrase before.

Just started a quick test game to make sure everything is working, and now I can't figure out how to change Windows full screen.  I found the option, but it refuses to let me change it.  I constantly swap between Word for my report, paint for photos, and the game.  Windows full screen really slows down tabbing between the three items, and I want to shut it off.
