I don't have the DLC. I rolled a map for us. Here are the settings I used for you guys to look over:

The settings are as per Gaspar's specifications, with the addendum that I threw in world age: 'New' and rainfall: 'Wet' out of pure curiosity while drunk with my map making powers. If people prefer a standard map I can reroll a new one for us tonight.
If we do go with the map I rolled, here's the start:

It looks pretty strong - we have fresh water, two amenities, plenty of forest for chopping, some hills for production, horses, mountains if we want some early science, but it's nowhere near the ridiculous start we had in SG 1 (septuple wheat (!), triple sheep, triple mercury.)
