Hmm, you are right that this tile won´t be used, but I have yet to see a game where the capital had use of all its tiles, especially as Russia. Gold is precious, so I would put down the Lavra SE of your capital.
+1 from forests you want to keep around for quite a bit and you can further boost it with a district of culture soon, probably E of the capital.
I am not seeing a huge farming bonus area possible with that ivory as well.

Hmm, I distinctly remember that Kongo got double merchant and artist points in the initial release of the game, upon opening the game I saw "just" +50%.
I found a rather nice plains hill next to a wine for an excellent city site for city #2 for Germany. I also renamed Aachen to Du hast. Not sure on districts yet over there, no obvious thing stands out as I like my commercial districts on rivers and with Germany next to Hansas, so need more info there.
I recommend that you swing your warrior to the W and not waste time in the tundra like I did in PBEM #2.

What should I grab after astrology. I would really like mining to get the extra production from the quarry, but since you already have hammers sunk into it will me getting it just make your research faster? I can always go animal husbandry but I prefer to get the extra hammer instead of gold and an amenity.

Good news found Muscat! After we get an idea of what CS's we are able to work with, we can see who should suzarain who, and which we should conquer, for now the extra gold is helpful.
Got CQUI setup, and wow is it awesome. Looking forward to trying a game with it. I posted the score for reference, and you'll notice I placed some 'tentative' dots down. Let me know what you think.

Hmm, I am not sure if you made your City Wonder Dot a Team one, so I can not see it.
Muscat is a nice bonus to have, we will see what we do about the CS as soon as we have more info but any CS without a godly bonus will be eaten quickly by my warriors and appropriate cities will be redistributed amongst our collective.
My quest is a rather unfortunate "Eureka for Sailing". Still better then Great Writer, but definitely not as good as the Irrigation Eureka.
I also loose one movement point to a badly placed barbarian scout in the swamp. We will see where we are next turn.

Not much to report was going to go north of CS, looks like there is coast there, unless there are land bridges. Hard to tell I can move through there borders but I do not want to get stuck over there If I explore to far.
Also updated those dots I put down so team mates can see them. Still trying to get used to the new UI, which I must say is really nice.

Hmm, between the +3 from my tile and the +4 I could get my old SP strategy out of buying the 1st settler and building the 2nd nearly to completion before buying the 1st. Right now that would mean 23 turns. If I had met both CS as first, that would be a no brainer. Do check out your quest for our new found friend.
As soon as that is done, I will build a 2nd warrior and maybe immeaditly conquer him with my slinger together I will test this out in SP. Maybe I need a third warrior.
There are only 3 tiles to approach the city, so either I get archers very quick (dislike this, I like having 4-5 slingers around before I do the Eureka) or I can approach from the south. As Germany it should still be doable.

A couple things to note. (I use my thread in PBEM6 to keep track of ideas, so ill do the same here)
-Your going to building a majority of our harbors and commerce district (I will need some for trade routes), so my economy is going to be for faith based
-I want to scout the area a bit more but right now the +2 from the natural wonder is my best bet I think for city #2. I want to build a settler after my larva is done. Hopefully with my tile grab to start I will only need to buy the tile I want to put the HS.
-In team our gold can be considered combined. I have no use for it and would rather you get 3 cities quick. I really only need 2 to secure first prophet. Projects / shrines (I prefer shines) will be next in line to ensure I get the first religion. So I can sandbag techs a bit to make that tile purchase a little cheaper.
-You have a luxury that is easy to get so 3 cities makes sense, you won't get pissed off Germans at size 3.
-As Alhambram showed in PBEM 2, my strength is in Cossacks, so how can I help you get to Germany's 'sweet spot' while storing mass amounts of faith. I think getting you to hanza's is key, and the faster we can the better.
-Depending on my quest and if my culture is high enough, I may be able to steal the colusseum (which would be great) and the extra 15% might be helpful with 25% from cards and 10% from government.

Some good points.
- Yeah, you should build a belated harbor or commerce for basic economic purposes. We might be doing move by going full specialization, but I doubt it.
- City 2 down there makes perfect sense, I am semi-confident that I will probably find a better city spot upriver from Du Hast, we need to be cautious that you do not mess up any good city sites for me with your superior border extension.
- Excellent point about team gold. We got severly shafted by having 2 commercial CS (cultural, military are so much better for an initial boost), so we might consider pooling our gold for a super early, 320 gold settler. I am off a mind of having you be the one to buy a settler, especially as your are on size 2 and we could put down 2 lavras ridiculously fast.
We have 91 -320 means we need 229 , we have 12,4 pt on my end and 10,5 pt on your end, which means we can rushbuy a settler in exactly ten turns (or 11 if you buy as I need to reach my gold and send it to you.)
I think this is a much better use of our gold then buying tiles.
So I am a 100% sure that is the best use for our gold, We have about 9 turns to decide how to make best use of our cities. I funny enough lean towards you, instead of me. We need to discuss this a bit more in detail.
- Yeah, the luxury situation goes into this.
- Colosseum, this is a toughie. With China around this is a very, very risky move and would need some severe focus in production and chopping to steal it out from their shoes. A beeline towards Games and Recreation coupled with a water mill build would be needed. Let me think a bit about this.
Will write more when I can.

Will write more when I can. -I think the specialization benefits us in that Russia gets a bonus for sending trade routes, and since my internal routes won't provide much production, it is best to send them to you any ways. We will see how this plan fairs.
-I am thinking it is best if I settle the spots in the south with tundra. While even with Russia's unique ability they are not the best tiles, I can at least benefit from tundra. Depending on our continent layout it might be best for me to get the south and you get the north. With me having a couple coastal cities.
-If we want me to get the settler (which I am going to say is a good call) then I need to bring my warrior back from scouting and send my soon to be finished scout north. The warrior will be needed to escort my settler. Keep in mind that the best place to put down the larva is going to be (1)(1SW) of where I have it marked. That will give it +4 at the very least. That will require best case, one level 3 tile purchase, or worst one level 2 and 3 tiles purchase, so i would have to spend a few turns building a monument or something.
-I like the quick second city also because that should guarantee us first religion unless china beats us 2 it with stonehenge. I would prefer to not have to run any projects and just build shrines, but that is an option.
-Colosseum, we will have to keep a close eye on singaboy's civic score. I have 7 jungle, 1 forest and 1 stone tile that will be available to rush the theater and wonder. I would like to keep the stone around though, since I will be short on production with limited industrial zones.
-If we can get religion before stonehenge we are in a good position, fighting for the second one may be more difficult.
-We may not get first pick of pantheon so be on the lookout of what I should pick instead of divine spark, considering there is most likely a religious CS out there, hopefully Kongo does not get it.
All I can think of at the moment.
Turn 7
My quest for the CS by you is to trigger eureka for bronze working.
My capital is set to grow again in 3 turns, want to get my builder out than start on the larva. I'll place it down in 2.
One last thing as far as cities are concerned. I will need at least one production heavy city (encampment, IZ, harbor, larva / theater). This will depend on how much land we have up north.
I also don't think we need to keep muscat around so either of us can grab that. As far as your cs is concerned like I mentioned earlier that might be better for me to get on account of it already being in the tundra.
Keep up the chat, no idea in reserve is bad.
EDIT: I also noticed in my previous post the bonus wonder construction. I thought Brussels was next to you, that CS is not very good so no need to keep it around at all.
